Hello there! :D
Great idea for the puzzle, haven't seen anything like this before. It was fun solving it, and that stupid site didn't work properly, had to start my old Audacity. Thanks for the giveaway, already own Collection. :)

Did work for me either. That why I hid the link to Audacity in the description. =)

That site accepts .wav as input, i guess that's why it didn't work for me either.

Hi, guys :) Satanic. I've been trying to make a itstoohard link but lacked one character (thought it was 1 --> 1.mp3). Then it dawned upon me! Really nice.

Nice puzzle, when I first heard the audio, I knew it's a reverse one. Then the 7 letter code stopped me for a few minutes because at the beginning I didn't recognize it. After tried YTRHNLE then I got the idea - it's a base64 code, and different voice means upper/lower case.
Thanks Fet!

Actually, it's the same voice. Here. English (female) - Slower. I just raised the pitch for upper case letters and lowered it for lower case ones. :)

Good one, remind me of using a audio player which can change the frequency in real time. It's funny. (Is that jetAudio? not sure, I'm using foobar for years.)

All done. Took me a little while to find the "Reverse" option on Audacity (I thought it didn't even have one for a moment there) but after that it was pretty straightforward. :)
Already own the game, but thank you for the puzzle. :D

PS: I sorta thought you and a little girl had recorded it live since the noise sounded a lot like rain. ^_^

Umm.... No. I'm not too big on recording little girls in the rain. I stole the rain sounds from here and did a little tweaking and mixing.

Yay got it. I was doing a bunch of unneeded stuff using trip tables and what-not. Thanks for the puzzle!

I checked the file properties in Windows and saw "64" in the comments. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to view those 64 comments, haha.

Oh wow, I was stuck, because I didn't realise the uppercase/lowercase was indicated in the recording too and that it mattered. I kept trying to mess with the letters as they were, but decoding that wasn't giving any useful results. Well... Now it's done though. Thank you for this, Fet.

Thank you. Very nice puzzle but I probably wouldn't have solved it without your last hint. I found the 64 very quick but didn't think of Base 64. I thought it might be another hint at capitalisation additionally to the tone pitch (as the 4th and 6th letters are cpitalised) and I just missed something else. :-)

Why didn't I think of base64 earlier? Thank you Fet, I already have this awesome game =)

Solved without using the hint I just see you posted now. Nice puzzle, for a while I was using "1" (the filename) as 8th letter until I noticed a 5 characters string is translated in 7 base64 characters. I even tried to interpret the thunders of the message, if there was one thunder only, then I would not have solved the puzzle without using this hint. :)

I saw the puzzle first when you posted that there's one day left and I got the letters (with the correct letter cases) and the hint for base64 in a couple of minutes, but I couldn't get past this point because I wanted to convert the letters to base64, not the other way around. When I saw the hint I just realized how stupid I was not trying to decode from base64...
But thanks, it was a fun puzzle, and unique too!

I figured the characters and the casing right from the start but I was convinced it was a itstoohard link and I eventually gave up. >.<
Nonetheless, I have to say it was a pretty cool puzzle, the casing was definitely my favorite part of it, so... Thank you for the awesome puzzle and for the also awesome giveaway! I love the Hitman series and Blood Money is a must play! Good luck to everyone who entered!
