...Rome!

Rent a Vespa: I think anyone visiting Rome should do this. I only had a car license and it was fine.
To say that driving in Rome is a bit of an experience is an understatement. There are no lines on the roads in Rome yet honking is not too common, people somehow weave between each other with ease. Ride it through Rome, ride it past the Colosseum, stop arbitrarily for Gelato in a small cafe. Every ride is an adventure. With Rome's many one way streets, every ride is an adventure (read: getting lost every time XD).

Picture: Piazza Venezia. Altare della Patria is right in front of it and despite the controversy, I think it's worth a visit. If you're lucky you'll get to see the guards change shifts and after, you can have a bit to eat at one of the snack stands or cafes nearby.

And that brings us to the end of our little adventure... I guess it's time to go home

EDIT: For those of you who are confused as to this description, this is the last stop of a train that I forgot to set to invite only, so.. yay!

Thanks for Evil Genius :) I have Rome on one of my places to visit list, but renting a Vespa is not something I thought about before ^^

You have to! It's so much fun and a really convenient way to get around. Cars are tricky cause of the smaller roads.

Did you manage to rent one and survive? One of my most terrifying experiences in my life was renting a cab in Rome. The driver drove as if we were in a Mission Impossible movie, not unlike most other cars I have to say. But yes since he managed to weave all the way from the Fori Imperiali to the airport I suppose they're used to that. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

bahahah I'm here now aren't I? :p

Yup, like I said, they somehow manage to weave between each other but I just rode by the side, hoping that I don't hit anything @@. I learnt to just go with it after a bit though, everyone seemed to have good enough reflexes to avoid me ><
