Really, I'd say that The Walking Dead is the best, possibly only, example for me. It's not that I didn't see the twists and turns coming a mile away, but instead that, even while being an insightful guy that figures out what's coming in things long before they actually happen in movies, TV shows, and games alike... The Walking Dead still just hammer-fisted me with the feels. That game totally blew me away with the quality of storytelling and the way the emotional impact was so carefully hand crafted. I don't usually like adventure games, but yet The Walking Dead became instantly one of my all time favorite games, all while being the first game ever that caused so much emotional impact I actually had to walk away between 'episodes' because I needed the break. The whole idea of making such a striking impact with a game blows my mind, and I really hope to see it as a real trend, where more and more mainstream titles really lovingly craft an emotional roller coaster to play through like that.

GTA 3 blew my mind, I thought it was just a driving game when i Bought it and then when I accidentally pressed button and character got out I started screaming, well there was Driver 2 and Urban Chaos before but nothing compared to this one.

What game blew my mind? Telltale's The Walking Dead ending. Man that was powerful.

What game blew my mind? Weird choice: Big Bang Mini on the DS. The game was just something so different to me that I couldn't help but play it non-stop.
