Usually I don't like private profiles, makes it too hard to use sgtools to check if you activate your gifts, but I was too lazy to add you to do it manually or complain ;-)
You can but you don't have to... I wasn't lazy about adding you, I was to lazy to manually go through all your old wins and search them in your library. ;)
Would be news to me... Have not seen any announcements etc about this and I still keep finding people that did not activate their wins... Last time this was discussed that it should be automatic, they said the problem were the false positives etc

that is automatic now, when you synch they look for unactivated wins
