Instead of getting a highly anticipated and over-priced AAA title for a giveaway, I find it more convenient to get bunch of games, especially indie titles. This way, the chances to win for people who are really interested in playing the game are increased. And also, I got to know a few indie game developers through my job, they really don't care about the money they could make from the game. They are interested in people's opinions. Their game is their art, and appreciation, a positive review on steam makes them the happiest people on earth. However, not all of them are lucky like The Escapists's, Necrodancer's, Undertale's developers. Their game might turn out to be shit, or might just be played by the wrong people. Anyway, enjoy the train.

Rebel. I play almsot entirly indie games for a few reasons. The first obvious one - i don't have money to buy AAA games. Second is connected with money again - i don't have the PC to run new AAA games. And if i like the game i make video review and write my thoughts on Steam and i really hope my review will help the dev :)
As human beings we like to be appretieted and when someone say a good word for the thing we make, it feels like everything is possible. This could make as do even greater things. ;)
