Firefly and Cowboy Bebop both instantly come to mind, but I've always loved the Babylon 5 series. I have the entire set and rewatch it every couple of years.
I like Firefly, Doctor Who, don't know if Sergeant Frog counts as a space anime since they're invaders stuck on Earth, but the dubbed version is hilarious. Oh, and I can't forget Invader Zim.
