GAR combines elements of old-school space shooters like Star Control, action-RPGs like Diablo, and space adventure games like Freelancer. The graphics are fully 3D but in top-down or '2.5D' mode. The chase camera and movement interface is similar to many online RPGs such as WoW, that is 'WASD' style-movement and not point-and-click.
What makes GAR different from other shooters is automated content generation technology that intelligently creates its own new content while the game is being played. In GAR, all player weapons are generated by the 'cgNEAT' content-generating algorithm based on weapon usage statistics. However, cgNEAT does not simply respawn weapons that people like. Rather, it creates new weapons that elaborate on characteristics of weapons that have been popular in the past.

The amount of people registered is not reliable, because some of those that might have left the site or have been banned. The amount of currently active members in SG is only some percentage on that 250 000.

Ugh though..I'm using firefox, and even with a user agent switcher telling it i'm using chrome, it's saying 'the file is too big, you need google chrome' ._.

You could a separate OST as DLC, when future DLC would be to arrive, could make it an deluxe edition or something. Bit shabby while it's for free on Soundcloud, but that way that guy could also earn something by it...
Although I have to say, I pretty much hate that 'make everything DLC', so for the artist might be better to include it with his name very visible or somthing in a floder...
