An old game gave me a good jump scare recently (luckily nothing more serious has happened lately). I was doing a run through the first Tomb Raider again, came to a corner and heard a mummy's growl, took one step... and still jumped a foot off my seat when it pounced on me. lol Very rare a game can frighten me (only Amnesia has put me on edge so far), so I got a laugh off it taking a 1996 game to do it. Thanks for the giveaway!

my little brother decided to wake me up, so he grabbed his phone and played a bulletshot at his highest volume. I ended up having falled out of my pee covered bed T-T

Some of the jump scares in the first Dead Space managed to catch me off guard, but as far as genuine creepiness I would probably say the haunted house in Vampire: The Masquerade. I don't play a whole lot of scary games though.
