I didn't miss the timing as far as I know, but it might have started later than I expected.

You're welcome! It's Unreal Engine 3, in the form of the Unreal Development Kit.
Is there any chance for a Linux version down the road?
We had hoped for it, but the lack of support for the UDK running on Linux prevented it. Sorry! Though I hope to release multi platform games in the future.
