It is most fortunate you scanned the details of my letters. The maps I sent you contained markings, most assuredly, but they indicated the locations of several hostile native tribes. Were any man to visit them, he surely would not return. The real location of our treasures (the gold of which most certainly did not run out after some few inches) is concealed within my correspondence, as you have no doubt surmised. Edit: Did you change the description? I am pretty sure it did read “The first letter, … The second letter, …” in the riddle earlier – and without this I would not have solved it ;)

I love these adventure puzzles. Though I must say they are becoming easier to crack. To make them harder I'd suggest making lengthier steps to get to the final giveaway page. E.g. here we could have had to guess/decipher maps/maps locations first, then decode letters and only then make out the final code. Nevertheless I appreciate your efforts to make these fine puzzles and look forward to cracking any future ones :)

I was going to call this "Adventure 2.5," but I forgot. I've got some games saved up for hard puzzles in the future... four, six, and eight prize puzzle chains where you need to solve each to find the next. This is just for fun.
edit: Also, I'm not terribly fond of forcing you to guess either the order of some characters, or what to do next. I like to make it clear what you're to do, or at least give you hints enough that some quick googling will tell you.

Hahaha oh my god, dat riddle! :D I actually gave up after a short while, but I had a feeling I was on the right track with those links in your OP... and then it came to me! At first I went with the letters in the locations where the letters were postmarked, I was almost entirely sure that it was the way to go.
