The Forest Trail

The cold is enough to freeze your very synapses .. The snow is rapidly becoming a blizzard and you are losing the path as the snow covers it up.

You think wistfully of your fire, the beer at the tavern and your cat Tibbles .. What you would't give for some hot Burgers now ..

Then you catch a movement out of the corner of your eye; something different amongst the swirling snowflakes. You call out, asking if anyone is there and then out of the snow a shape jumps up
