In the end, really, it was just a $3.50 game on sale that I would have sold for 2-3 keys durring the current sale. If it was a misunderstanding and everything works out, then ill remove all of my posts in reference to this. As for impersonator, when I chat with ANYONE, I ALWAYS check the profile and ask for some sort of steamtrades link for rep ect, which this person was able to give, as well as his profile from the steamtrades page, linking to the same profile on my steam app. Both profiles has the same games in inventory, ect.
If it is an impersonator and I get my game back from the user, then no harm no foul and ill close the post and see what I can do about the steamrep report.
But, until that happens, Ill be bumping this thread as well as reporting the threads on outpost and wherever I see the user posting...
Not sure...Im gonna keep bumping till I get tired...or until it get straightened out.. in the end, its only $3.75....but the dudes got keys , buds and bills, so its not like it couldn't be afforded..he went offline as soon as the "trade" happened. im trying to add again to tr and clear up, but prob not gonna happen..just keep bumping...
idk about trusting this 100% but if it was really him you should try to steam chat with deali3n from his real steamtrades -> steam profile and see if steam recorded the last bit of the conversation between you two

It is not the same person. Games,badges ,inventory, etc. don't match. Sry but you have been tricked mate.
The guy must have been stalking you. Finding out when you traded and who you traded with. Use some info to convince you that it was the real dealien.
You should detract the report and investagate further. Im sure the scammer has made his profile private and is in seclution for a bit to one day strike again.
It's an impersonator, look the amount of games of Pandabite and the scammer, for example.

In reference to this post, it was based on the information that I had right then and there. The last thing that I would want to do is accuse a user that has lots of good rep and good history, especially since getting to the level that I am at has taken a lot of work. I had edited the title and will any other "scam" allegations.
Currently, this is what I know:
The user is impersonating Pandabite, a known good trader with lots of rep.
The scammer looked through my profile and saw that I traded with Panda on at least one occasion, to even point out the date and time. The time was wrong but I chocked it up to time zones, etc, whatever... my mistake #1. After looking through my trade history and verifying, I agreed to the "trade"
He said that his steamguard was turned off and that he couldn't trade the game. He linked me to his steamtrade page, which was linked to PandaBite. I saw the amount of rep and respected that. He said that because the steamguard was turned off, then we had to gift the items. I was a little suspicious, but i have had to do that in the past week since the other party was having trouble with there trade. that trade worked fine.
I sent the gift, again, respecting rep.
I got a gift also, but it was KilingFloor guest pass
As for the Pandabite links and screens, that what was presented at the time.
I have reported to steamrep as well, but will rescind that request as well.
