New name, new size, no mystery?
Thought it was going to be full of mystery games, not mystery games... :P
Despite me knowing full well how often Fanatical runs loot box-type game sales, I too was thinking "oh is this a bundle of mystery-genre or HOG games?", then was disappointed to see a drop list waiting to be filled.
I blame Humble for starting this by calling their partially blind monthlies a "bundle". At least GMG calls them "packs" instead.

Groupees has been doing the completely blind thing since significantly before Humble Monthly. And now that I think of it Indie Royale even had some blind bundles ages ago where one game would be revealed each day along with a price increase. Loot box culture also plays into it.

At least in Groupees' case, it is a regular bundle that you can see and buy once it goes live. The blind part is just a preorder with a discount. Though Groupees does have a random/mystery game as part of otherwise normal bundles sometimes, too.

True, but the main stuff was generally revealed upfront and you could lock the price beforehand so that never really fazed me. If there was enough there initially that I would be interested in I'd lock the price in, or otherwise just wait until the week 2 reveal to make a decision so the mystery part didn't really play into it for me.

Yeah... Problem is Fanatical has a really great bundle about 1 out of 20 times... then the rest are repeats-fests and loot box bundles. But despite this knowledge, my eyes see "new bundle!" and there is a tiny release of dopamine in my brain, followed by a rush of disappointment in my gut when I see what it really is. :P
