for 1$, it's an "OK" bundle. but I sure as hell won't be paying the full price for the prison architect game... It's just not a good enough offer.

Already bought this the first time around! And I got Dungeons of Dredmor with it that time too! It came with the bonuses as well! Only thing I don't have is Prison Architect.

That's weird - I consider this to be one of the better bundles.

1 decade ago

But it's already been a bundle- Humble Introversion Bundle. Also, there was Indie Gala Colossus, which was the same thing. Everyone who wanted it owns it

I did not until today, for example. Not everyone is on teh internetz 365 days in a year.

Now off I go to play DEFCON...

1 decade ago

Everyone who wanted it "and knew of bundles most likely" owns it.

Good correction Kaiser. A lot of people are learning about bundles in general for the first time, or may only know about Humble Bundle (and missed the first Introversion bundle). Others might just not track the bundles closely and miss them on occasion.

i want it, i cant pay it...so not all have it :C.... really sad :truestory:

1 decade ago

The games in it are between good & great, but they have been featured in so many other bundles that it is hard to get excited over them.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I wish people would stop saying it's for charity. Humble Bundle Inc. donates a portion to charity but they are very much a for profit corporation.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You can pick where it goes....at least thats what I was under the impression of when I selected 100% to charity.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yup, you can do that but a vast majority of people don't. Even so I wouldn't be surprised if Humble Bundle at least takes their processing fees out. Pretty much any time you incorporate a middle man you're going to reduce some efficiency. As a result it's almost always better to give to the charity of your choice directly.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

man, even for “purely” non profit charity organizations, a large chunk of the donation ends up becoming administration fee.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

That really depends on the charity. By adding Humble Bundle Inc. in between you're just further increasing the total administrative costs.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Thank you. I get quite annoyed by this as well. Even worse when people treat low payers or bundle splitters as "ripping off charity"...

You are so cool btw, telling super meat boy sucks when every comments here tells you that this bundle sucks, and you are telling that about this bundle too...i am just saying that this bundle (or weekly deal) sucks. And btw Super meat boy sells a lot, these games sells only because they are 1 dollar every day (and not even more than super meat boy).

If you want Prison Architect, don't wait for buying the bundle:
"Pre-order Prison Architect within the first 24 hours of this weekly sale for just $19.99 or more! Afterwards, you can still pre-order the game with a purchase of $24.99 or more."

It isn't even the Aficionado-version, quite disappointing there's neither soundtrack nor artbook :/

It actually exists, but in case you still can't access it, I'll quote the main post below. Or, here's a screenshot

It's really easy to upgrade to any higher tier in the alpha.

  1. Check that we haven't sold out by visiting prison-architect.com

  2. Make a paypal donation of the price difference between your current tier and the one to which you wish to upgrade.

eg. If you have bought the Base Pack for $30 and wish to get your name in the game ($50) you need to make a donation of $50 - $30 = $20.

  1. Mail your paypal receipt for the donation together with your email address to upgrades@introversion.co.uk.

That's it! We'll upgrade you and you'll receive an email when it's been done.
Any problems just mail support@introversion.co.uk.
