Bought 10$ tier...

It's great when games on bundle are less than those on sale in store...

If you pay a cent you're stealing from Humble Bundle. They have to pay fees on every purchase.

The 1$ seems worth it, from the BTA I only find Papers, Please as a good game, but not for 7.20$

All T1 (0,8€) games have Trading Cards (a total of 10) and at market you can sell them for ~0,95€. So its for free if you dont collect the cards.

Wutt, Gunpoint, lufrausers & papers please are all games I've been dying to see in a bundle.

BTA price is way too high for my taste atm though.

I remember Hammerwatch was like 10$ once in a daily bundle, they gave you a 4pack I think, but now you can get this game for just 1$.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It was ~10$ because artwork was tier 1$, Hammerwatch was BTA and 10?$ was a 4 pack. Nobody bought the 1$ tier, so ofc BTA increased like hell. It was a really badly constructed bundle.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I remeber in that bundle the first tier was pay what you want and get artwork, second tier was Hammerwatch for 6$ and 3rd tier 4x copies for 10$, and as I remember now ppl received another 4 extra copies.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Didn't everyone end up getting like 8 copies though?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Oh, I remember something like that yes, well at least ppl won't feel bad for paying 10$ for it, since now it cost just 1$.

That's why I didn't name hammewatch :P
Sadly the BTA isn't gonna go any lower then $6.50 though by the looks of it, so I guess i'll hold off on buying till the bonuses have been added or there's a group buy.

I'm thinking Rogue Legacy/Risk of Rain, and maybe Banner Saga since it's on sale currently on Steam.
Doubtful, but it's possible guesses are: Story About my Uncle, 5 Nights at Freddy's, and The Novelist.

I was thinking about Rogue Legacy too. If I'm not wrong, it was released on Steam about the same time as Papers Please.

It's a good bundle, but the $10 tier trick is lame :). I will wait for the BTA to drop and if it doesn't and there is no good second week bonuses I will stick with the lower tier.

This bundles looks really nice for me I dont have any of those games... a bit expensive, Ill wait until next week to see if the price drop or if I go for the $10 tier :)

edit: end up buying the 10 dollar tier, Prison Arquitect look too fun

Bought $10 tier even though the only games i lack are prison architect, lufttrausers and hammerwatch. Too good of a deal to skip still. Hopefully some bonuses get added i dont own next week.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Very tempted to do something similar. Missing Hammerwatch, Steamworld Dig, Luftrausers and whilst I do have a gift copy of Prison Architect in my inventory I've yet to activate it.

It's a nice bundle that I think deserves that extra bit of money to be thrown at it.

Edit: Pulled the trigger, got that tier.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Do games in the top tier still get added to the Bundle List? I'd think that rather silly, considering you'd still have to pay the $10 to get it.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I'm not sure. I think it depends on the cost of the game on Steam, the cost of top tier, and whether or not the person handling the bundle list (cg?) thinks it's warranted.

This is a lower top tier price than in some other bundles where the top tier games weren't added to the bundle list, (2k bundle = $20), (Extra credits bundle = $15) but then there were 2 games in the top tier for both of those and there's only one in this bundle. If I had to guess, and it would only be a guess I'm leaning towards thinking it might not be put on the list.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I suppose one could argue that the value of the top tier game is the Top tier - BTA Price, which means one is getting Prison Architect for $2.70 right now. But that's still only 88% off and below the key -95% off threshold that is used for pricing issues.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Doesn't seem like it. Astebreed was a top tier game recently and it didn't get added.

Wooo wo wo wait a minute. BTA actually drops as well? I thought it only went up... (up and away) Bought BTA...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Its based on the average. If the $1 is more appealing than the BTA or top-tier, that means the Average will drop.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

well that makes sense. oh well, next time I'll see how the wind blows before throwing money at it. Ty!

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Remember than if you buy the 1st tier for just $1, the BTA will lock on the current price. So you can decide later if you want to buy the BTA and don't worry if goes too high...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I already own the $1 games, but I'll grab next week after the bonuses for the BTA stuff. Maybe the $10 game as well.
