Yup, when I create a giveaway and the winner takes a couple of days to mark as received, I always get paranoid that there was a problem with the key :D

I get it. All the time. With every single key...
...for a simple reason:
I get anxious.
With EVERYTHING.
I also get anxious with receiving a key. I also get anxious if i see a GA im in soon to finish even if it have like 1k entries (i can't look at my entered gas. I can't).
I get anxious before sales even when im with 0 budget.
I get anxious if im waiting for the bus, see it coming but for whatever reason it have to stop.
I get anxious trying to open a package of cookies thats hard to open.
I...
get anxious.
PS: im saying that with a won GA sitting there remind me for 3 days now. So yeah, i am anxious right now. More then usual.

I always remember a few first symbols of key when copying to buffer and then check that this is in the 'key' field. Weren't a single mistake so far.
Then, if you made something wrong - if it is not a problem for you to get another key, fine. But it is usually normal to explain problem to a person, so that GA could be deleted with their permissive comment inside GA. After all it is you giving away stuff 'for free'. If person would be so rude not to agree to this and will demand you to get a key, it is for better to leave GA 'not received' than to do any good to such a brat anyways.

Yeah, I have general anxiety so sometimes it's hard to make myself want to deal with that and get keys up. I've done like 400~ GAs and only messed up a couple of them but I still expect every key is somehow wrong. I mostly limit myself to higher level GAs because those people are generally fast to accept and mark received ... less time to worry that something went wrong.

Oh I get pretty anxious doing giveaways (I have anxiety though). I start worrying that I have a bad key and dont know it, its a dupe, its for the wrong game, or I copy and pasted the wrong key. Then after I get my winners, if they dont activate fairly soon (especially if I notice theyve been online), I start worrying theres a problem with the key and they dont know to tell me, or they forgot.
I usually have to keep reminding myself getting a "not received", or having to replace a key isnt the end of the world, but doesnt really do much to keep me from worrying

I once accidentally flipped the order of two keys, luckily the first guy that tried to activate the key already had the other game, so I could switch them around without any problems. But overall I'm not too worried. Worst case scenario is that you have to get a new key from somewhere. If you're lucky you can trade for one, otherwise it may sting a bit in the wallet.

With keys that I've had sitting around for a while, there's always that wonder if they're still "good" (haven't been revoked somehow, or brute forced and claimed by someone, etc.)
There was also one time when I had about 30 giveaways ending simultaneously, and within minutes, my inbox started filling up with messages from people saying that the keys didn't work. That got me a little worried because I had gotten them all from the same site and thought they ripped me off, but it turned out to be a temporary issue with Steam, which wasn't able to activate any keys for a few minutes. It was all good in the end. Whew! :)
Also, your description made me think of this...
"Uh oh, what if key in my giveaway doesn't work?!"

Absolutely, you described my feelings to the letter. I sit there after my giveaways are done and hope I get feedback right away so I know everything worked out. Giving is supposed to feel good, and it does, but when you have anxiety everything is stressful and you never feel 100% sure of yourself. I did have one winner get back to me and tell me the key was a dup. Totally accurate gif of my reaction at the bottom
I deal with it like this, if/when something goes wrong I know I can make it right and in that instance I had a key for a little dollar game off their wishlist so I gave them that too for being polite and patient with me.
That's generally how I cope with anxiety in all aspects of my life, find the failproof logic in a situation if possible and cling to it for dear life, IE: You know you're not going to say "Well tough luck" to the winner, you're willing to make it right. That said...Sometimes the other person won't let you make it right.
Slightly tangential but related, it's so much worse when you get someone that isn't polite... I've been doing card trades via the exchange and STM for two years now and I always had this fear of messing up. I made a trade via STM that to this day I'm confused at what the issue was with. Same game, three cards for three cards, all worth 5c each. I got comment from the person I offered the trade to on a random screenshot of mine calling me a "Fake trader" I asked the guy why it was a fake trade, I legit panicked and wanted to know if I had screwed up somehow and I just got called a fake trader again... Even in times where you know you're not dealing with reasonable person and there's nothing you can do to fix the situation or "prove" you're not a bad person, it's hard not to let it get to you. I get an instant heart-pounding momentary panic in situations like that. Sadly the ways of coping with anxiety are unique to each person and each situation. Sometimes the situation is so silly you can just brush it off and sometimes it just hits you wrong and you spend way too long agonizing over it like I did.¯_(ツ)_/¯
For me, I refuse to let situations like that and ever-present anxiety outweigh the awesome feeling of giving. Keep giving and do your damnedest to make it right if something happens. You're awesome for sharing and that's all that matters.

I feel silly for asking this, but when any of you create giveaways, and put in the keys, do you worry that by the end of it that you've somehow put in a dead key or a wrong one by accident? ;D
I know /I/ was sweating when I recently did about 50 giveaways at once of all the unwanted games I got from bundles. (Yeeeah not gonna do that again).
And the worst thing is having to wait out the period like two, three days, all the while imagining future winners coming to you and going, "Hey! You ripped me off! Your key doesn't work, you rhino! Rip out money from your wallet and gimme that game!"
...My imagination can be a curse sometimes ;P
The funny thing is that a month later, I still get that same kind of anxiety. The longer the giveaway period, the more I fidget. Does it get easier as the years go by?
