Too many with no quarter mentioned, also many eventually get postponed, especially quarter 3-4 (and 4 can be pushed to 2025), and if someone comes acrosss something not in the list, i think it's much easier to view it by alphabetical order.
Simon the Sorcerer Origins was also already supposed to be released if i am right.

I meant the ones with quarters, the rest would still be '2024'. dates change all the time whether they're down to the day or just a year, and not all of it is alphabetized as is (plus every 'the' is in one place), but do as you see fit.
I used to keep a long list of upcoming games myself but checking it every weekend to see what's for next week was a pain, stuff kept getting postponed, so now I only check the week ahead. and miss a bunch of stuff because release dates are often set when the game comes out, so there might not be one on sunday for a game that comes out on tuesday.
btw, exit is already out. and just noticed death of the reprobrate is missing. it doesn't say 2024 but unlike previous years it had a demo during steamfest, so it should be this year. we'll see.

Then there will be three sections and even more complicated, i think i keep it as i see fit here, and phsyically and mentally i am so drained espeically since january for some reason and just too many stuff going on right now in real life, that this is like on the bottom of my list.
Many adventure games got and will be postponed, most devs are on their own, just a slight movement in their life and time and it might be a year (or years) later, i think it's also a harder estimate then other games.

it's a common practice these days and the most idiotic and one of many anti-consumer ones. valve encourages them to do so as soon as whateverfest ends (luckily some don't listen) and they often do it after the game is released too. the 'reason' can be it's not representative of the final product, which is bullshit, since it was available 2 days before release as well, or now people can buy it and refund, which is also bullshit. I often blacklist devs who do this, especially if they pull other fuckery as well.

Also it's very scummy. They're 3 pairs of games which are bundled each with a game from 2019 that contains those 2 games. Also 2/3 of the older games are in english. so 4 of the 6 games could have been in english too.

No, we aren't even past half of this year, and there are still too many in the 2024 list with no date, and too many quarters keep getting moved and games postponed, i am betting half of those aren't even going to make it this year.
The german got added, different languages i have no objection against (i am lucky that dutch is similiar to german) but we also have mortadelo. And i miss the good old daedelic entertainment with their point and click adventures, wanting to try different genres? Sure, but why completely abandon it? Guessing maybe why that former developer left.

I can totally understand the developer, a survival Deponia what were they thinking (or not) i mean if he feels his humour got taken away from the game, it was the same with Al Lowe and those newer Larry games.

Although some choose your own adventure games i believe they even use AI in, but this is Microprose.
