I think Rise and Sunbreak are great in their own right and worth what they're going for - its just a bit of a different flavour of Monster Hunter, more arcadey.

hell even a $5 tier which is just the base game for one game mightve gotten me to bite... give the people who are unsure about the series a chance to pick it up for cheap and try it out... might get people interested in buying the DLCs and other games in the series that way.

If you like the series and don't have all of the games or expansions already, this is a decent deal. But I could see the price point being too steep for someone who has never played and just wants to try it out.
I'm considering T2 since it's effectively a 50% discount on Sunbreak. Not sure when I would actually get around to playing it, though.

Almost all of that DLC is purely cosmetic, so you're not really missing anything. Iceborne and Sunbreak are the only DLC that actually matter.

Have World unplayed, unsure if I want to pick up Rise (even though it looks some approachable somehow) - definitely not for a price that is higher than current lowest/ historical lowest.
So it's more like a "not interested" type of skip. I don't care about full editions of a game I never played... Weird that a simple skip misses from the votes, without any other extra commentary.

My experience with this game was that I spent 2 hours in the character maker and then when I started playing the game I noticed there was input delay to actions, so it felt sluggish. Game lacked fluidity so I couldn't play it. I'm always amazed it sells well or it's well reviewed. I'll pass since I already own both games in here.

Monster Hunter games usually have one really big expansion (Iceborne/Sunbreak in this case) and tons of cosmetic DLCs which are totally unnecessary. In other words, Tier 4 is all you need.

Already got World and Iceborne. Not sure if I like the gameplay changes of Rise. And considering that's also the one in the lower tiers despite being the newest entry, it might mean that many people prefer World over Rise.
