I dunno whether or not to get the $6 version. What are peoples opinions on The Testament of Sherlock Holmes & Wargame: European Escalation ?

I really didn't like Wargame EE, But others seem to love it. I found it incredibly infuriating. Unless you have A LOT of time to memorize more units than are probably needed I wouldn't bother. But then again for 6 american pounds, maybe?

"American pounds" ... ha! :)

I have the Sherlock Holmes but I haven't played it yet. I expect it to be good though. I'm not interested in Wargame at all but I might still buy it for collection.

If you like adventure games, Testament is very, very good. It isn't Walking Dead-groundbreaking. But it's very solid and entertaining. It's also very dark.

IMO, it's worth $6 alone.

Tier one, here I come! I really find the second tiers weird lately. It's not like I would say all games aren't worth six bucks, but compared to tier one tier two is really bad. Well, I don't mind. It saves me money. ^^

Does anyone know how we will get the keys? I mean - one key for each game, or one key for couple of games?

1 decade ago

One for each tier.

1 decade ago

The keys are not seperate right?

1 decade ago

Nope, 1 key for for Non-BTA and 1 key for BTA games.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

for any1 that's wondering, it's 1 key

1 decade ago

all in 1 key (2 keys for BTA). I actually prefer this since I'm too lazy to add each of them to my library.

i already wanted to activate all games, so for me its not a big deal, i only owned blood bowl from the bundle.

I just want Sherlock :/ Why did they have to keep that in the BTA

1 decade ago

So people will have to BTA to get it.

Wasn't that what you said only two days ago?

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Aww, I'm sorry.

Yes, it was what I said, but there's been so much speculation about it, it's pointless saying "it's definitely going to be tomorrow". I THOUGHT it would be today, but you still had no proof, just like everyone who's posted the exact same thing.

Basically, don't get pissy at me just because I'm trying to keep the forum tidy.

what happens if you buy it for $0.01? I already bought one for $1 but games are Steam only, no DRM Free copies. What do you get if you just pay $0.01?

Edit: tested it and you only get Confrontation + Divinity II soundtrack

you can still buy it for less than $1, but I dont know what you get

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It will cost them money if you do that, because of transaction fees. Also, you wouldn't get anything in this bundle.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Ok, bought it. Cites XL and RAW definitely worth this price, rest of games - nothing special.

Hey, I'd like Sherlock Holmes to complete my set. But I'm not paying an extra $5 for it. Its bound to be on sale by itself for cheaper than that eventually. I know the 360/PS3 version has been $10 a number of times, and I could resell that.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Sherlock was $5 on amazon in June, so I would go with the $5 extra if you really want it

Hey Sisyphus if you still want sherlock holmes I'll send you my key from the bundle. Just send me a FR on Steam and let me know. I only bought the bundle for the soundtracks. Already have the games.

Don't feel bad, you bought it because you really wanted to play those games, most of us will buy them cause they're cheap. In the end, you may enjoy them more than some of us.

More than most of us hopefully. I'll probably never play any of these things, but I bought them anyway just because they're cheap. Besides, if you never bought anything that "might be cheaper eventually," well, you'd literally never buy anything. At all.

I'm not overly impressed by this bundle... Only 2 games I really want are Game of Thrones and Divinity II. Bloodbowl & Cities XL are already in my possession (and hardly ever played). The rest is too much strategy, and Holmes..? Not a real fan of that detective...

SO yeah, I picked the $1 bundle for only 2 games ;-)

I was going to say something about family sharing as well. At least they will get played when you are unable to get to them.
