You don't feed a dog some cat food. You are comparing an apple to an orange.
ST and SG are both developed by cg (the admin), however they are different sites for a reason. If cg wanted ST talk on this website he would have said that trade talk is okay, however that is NOT the case (see Guidelines > User Content > 13. Trading).

Well, there is a voting for -REPs, so technically something can be done. But it heavily depends on steamtrades community.

Reply to your -reps with an explanation and wait for the community to hopefully make things right. Also just use barter.vg it's much better once you get used to it.
