I dug it, some of the sounds you used gave it a chiptune-y vibe which was cool; sounds like it would be pretty rad in Audiosurf.

Not my genre... good job anyway.

Not usually my genre but it was pretty good nonetheless. A criticism I have is the WHOO! parts. I'm not a huge fan of how it sounds, for example, at 2:13. I wish you would have made them all sound like the one at 2:29. Reason being, the 2:13 one sounds like a person's randomly popping into the song while the one at 2:29 (due to w/e effect you put on that one) sounds more in tune with the song and its sound.

I also agree with the one comment someone made near the beginning of the song... The intro does your track no justice. It was not a very appealing intro, imo, and did not lead up to the rest of the song very well. But again, just my opinion and not being a regular of this genre you can take that with a grain of salt lol. Don't take my criticism as dislike though; I did enjoy the song overall :).

I know the intro is pretty shit, but I didn't have any ideas for it and got to the point where I was like...f*** it, I'll use this.

I disagree with what you think about the whoo, but that's fine, thanks for your feedback :)

As a person aspiring to be an author, I understand the distinct need for criticism and acknowledgement and am glad I can help you out, even if it's in a really small way.

The song is, quite honestly, excellent. A good idea would be to include download links so that your fans can own versions of this as files. Maybe it's just me, but I find an artist much more easily accessible if I can freely download their music. If you plan on releasing an album or EP anytime soon- try working with Bandcamp. It's where I get 95% of my music and it's very user friendly, from a consumer standpoint I suppose.

maybe the song should have a break at around the 2 minute mark, something to calm down and build up again. just an idea :)

I really liked your track Xygon. It's hard for me to describe how I felt about it as I have only poor music vocab. I think some more tension could have been released 1.41 but it goes into that robot sound again. I like the way the different types sounds in the song hit pretty much every part of the spectrum, high and low.

In the spirit of sharing, here's some tunes I made with Dance eJay 3 a few years ago. They were mostly experimental, and probably have too many tracks running so it can sound a bit too busy. I'm a newbie amateur so consider yourself warned before listening! I think I went a bit overboard emphasising bass.

In order from best to worst.
Dance3Mix5v2 This one I tend to have eargasm around 1:30-1:45 and enjoy the way I go from that sort of unpleasant sound at the start to a smoother sound in 0:20-0:30, but I'm not really happy with the way it ends (with a clap). I never could work out how to end a tune. It was a later version of Dance3Mix5 - this one ends with what is imo far too cheesy vocals.

Dance3Mix1 This one I think was a bit too repetitive. I liked what I was able to achieve around 1:56 though.

It's good, there were too many used parts put together.I didn't really like the jam to it.

I like electronic music but yours doesn't sound original enough to me; or at least, not that pleasant to listen to. Sorry.

Anyway, thanks for the giveaway!

Hi, use a bit of reverb and send it too almost all channels (specially those in the middle and high frequencies), it helps to make the mix to match as a whole, in the most of cases.
The leads and complex stuff is very nicely done.

Good luck in music, and don't stop doing it. You will be better with time.
From another musician-producer ;)
