no possibility for the function of selling games?

1.) All these assumptions based on what could be just a test between devs and Valve to allow test build sharing.
2.) IF your assumption is true, we would have no clue what the limitations or requirements are.
3.) IF this is true, and IF this gets implemented, and IF this goes well then MAYBE the next step would allow selling of our paid games.

And if account gets hacked and has the games sold on the Steam market? All transactions are final which pretty much means the person who has his or her account hacked is screwed over. That's why I really don't want Steam allowing people to sell games. Beggars and such people will start posting keyloggers everywhere in a chance to hack an account and get some money/games.

Hopefully it shouldn't get hacked if you have Steamguard enabled, and don't use the same password for Steam AND your primary email account...

People on neogaf are talking about having a used game store/trade in service for steam games which made me cringe. What about hackers hacking into accounts, selling all the games so he/she could buy games sent to inventory, and then send the gifts to an newly made email? Of course Valve could reverse it maybe but in FAQ it says Steam market transactions are final which means the person who has his or her account hacked has been screwed over.

Funny, I made a post a while ago asking what people thought of this very idea and pretty much everyone said it was awful and hated it. Some even said how it would destroy the market cause no one would buy new games anymore.

i already lend account(s) for ppl not owning certain games, i wonder if 'borrowing' will be less risky for when someone steals it or cheats.. it shud, otherwise it wouldn't be a viable option
not so sure how real this is in the first place, since they will never implement re-selling a game, what would they gain from this?

hey people, great information but for now it's a rumor
"SteamUI_JoinDialog_SharedLicense_Title" "Shared game library"
"SteamUI_JoinDialog_SharedLicenseLocked_OwnerText" "Just so you know, your games are currently in use by %borrower%. Playing now will send %borrower% a notice that it's time to quit."
"SteamUI_JoinDialog_SharedLicenseLocked_BorrowerText" "This shared game is currently unavailable. Please try again later or buy this game for your own library."
