Is this really really the FINAL one? Or will there be a final final one...? ٩◔̯◔۶

I thought we already said goodbye last time.

I thought so too.. But seems Informatics was already making this one while the other one got made. And it was Miller I believe who made the goodbye greenlight one.

Damn, you stole it from me :D, the only one you missed was the Greenlight Memorial Bundle, due to be released in a 2-months interval after Valve implemented the successor of the Steam Direct program, simply called Cash4Cards.

Ugh come on Groupees, your last GL bundle was shitty enough. No need for more >_<

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

But if it wasn't shitty enough there would be no need in the first place to lure people into voting for these games to get into steam - by costing as low.

I'm wondering what will happen if the games are not greenlit but they end on Steam anyway (using the new Steam publishing system). For example, let's say one game is not greenlit but the developer earned like $100 from this bundle and Steam "fee" to publish the game is $100, so the developer "uses" the bundle payment to publish the game on Steam. Are we entitled to a Steam key for the game? :P

Greenlight bundles are quite risky right now since the games are going to have a hard time being greenlit (unless being bundled helps the voting and they are greenlit thanks to it). Not a single game from the Goodbye Greenlight bundle has been greenlit, despite being on a Groupees bundle (which would make people vote for the games included in that bundle). Not a good sign :/

I thought about this too.. Well.. Let's hope so. Some devs will probably be kind and give us a key, and others most likely won't.

Well, the games in Goodbye Greenlight bundle were really awful. Except from the latest additions to that bundle. So I understand why people don't vote yes.

This seemed like an above average Greenlight bundle. Dradis, Mr. Triangle's Maze, Dragon's Lunch, Tamer of the Emptiness, and Boom all look interesting and promising.

Exactly! I got surprised when I was checking through the games to make the chart. :) If only general games were of better quality.

Oh yay! They lowered the requirements so now we at least got the first bonus!! :) And 3 of the games have been greenlit since the bundle launched!
I doubt we can reach the last bonus (still 195 to go from now), but at least the first bonus is in! ^^

Hello "help us pay Valve's extortion racket so we can give you steamkeys" bundles :D

That raises a good question. I'm not sure that the profits from a bundle will cover the Steam publishing fee (which I think is unknown at the moment). We might see crowdfunding campaigns in the future from developers to pay that publishing fee ("Help me get my game on Steam, buy your game for 50% and you'll receive a Steam key when the game is released on Steam", with a goal of the publishing fee -$1000 for example).

Goodbye Greenlight.

Greenlight gave us great things, but there are experiences I will definitely not miss when Valve blows it up. It's a pity that a few developers gave such a bad name to Greenlight.

Well, it seems we have another Vadim Starygin on sight:

The developer of Breal The Wall seems to be missing and we probably won't receive the Steam keys for this bundle. Great.

So what happens when the game get's removed from Steam? Are all non-redeemed keys invalidated? Else this would be a brilliant business model because those keys are surely going to increase in value.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If it's a DMCA takedown I think that the keys are unusable.

If the game gets removed and the Steam keys still work, the developer would have to send them to Groupees in the first place for us to have them :(

Two others up, and relatively soon after release, with "Murder (dot dot dot)" being released last month, and Dragon's Lunch just came out today, which is especially nice after all the recent greenlight burns

Cheers for the info ,amazed there's still action on this bundle ,thought it was dead as a dodo.

So many dev's don't honour their Groupee commitment ,which is a bit annoying.
I have a few games now that have released on steam but still no steam key forthcoming.
