Crazy how much worse these bundles are than the new Digiphile site bundles

You sure you're not saying that just because you're attracted to boomer shooters? I mean I am too, but it's just hexen/quake arena nostalgia for people. You can see they barely rack any hours in those games before they give them positive reviews.
Price wise the GMG one beats both the $5 and the t3 12$ bundles from digi. Granted the reviews are much more mixed for the GMG games, but again I think it's because people aren't even playing those boomer shooters xD, they just remember the good old days.
Not saying the boomer shooters are bad, just saying they average about the same quality as the games in this bundle.

Sorry, I should have clarified what I meant. Yes, review-wise digiphile ones are better, but that's more subjective about whether you'll like the games or not. I meant dollar value, most games in the GMG bundles they've been releasing have been primarily games that go on sale for $3-5, and then it'll have a couple "big" games that you can get for ~$10. The digiphile ones have pretty consistently been games that haven't been on big sales before.
For example, half the games in the boomer shooter bundle have only been on sale for $15, so I think the whole bundle being $17 gives you quite a bit of value (assuming you like the genre), and only 2 of the games have ever been in a bundle before.
On the other hand, this bundle has 2 games you could get for $10 and everything else is quite a bit cheaper (plus have appeared in other bundles)
I do agree though, digiphile bundles aren't great value if you don't go for the highest tier.
I assume this is to get people to buy either all or nothing, cause the tier values get so much better the higher you go:
T1 $7 for a $7 game (lol)
T2 $9 for $16 of games
T3 $12 for $28 of games
T4 $14 for $56 of games
T5 $17 for $72 of games
And as a side note, I actually don't have much nostalgia for boomer shooters, the oldest one I played at the time of release was UT2004. Prior to that I didn't really care much about shooters. Now I've gone back and played some older ones, but that's in recent years. Like Mayanaise was saying, I feel like these new boomer shooters are meant for people that didn't actually play the wolfenstein, doom, etc.

I mean Digiphile hasn't had many bundles so at this point so it's hard to judge, but the ones they have had have all had less repeats and are better curated (ex humble staff). GMG just throws a bunch of repeats together and adds 1-2 new to bundle games. GMG is only okayish for people that don't often buy bundles.. but even then those people probably aren't going to see GMGs bundles or be interested in them to begin with.. because they aren't mainstream enough in the bundle world.
I haven't bought a single GMG bundle, but have bought 3 digiphile ones so far. GMG is good as far as game sales go, but hardly anyone is buying their bundles.

The curation of those bundles have been nicest part for me. I am an immersive sim fan and the immersive sim bundle seemed like it hit a lot of the major games I was looking for. The current boomer shooter bundle does the same thing, and once again i helps that I am a fan of those types of games. The little videos that have come along side these bundles have been nice too. Doing a direct comparison with the recent humble boomer shooter bundle, it has games I'd like to play (most in wishlist), but among boomer shooters, none of the them were like the major must plays of that genre (still a lot of nice games though).
In the end though, bundles are great and have been a really great part of PC gaming. More bundles is good for all of us. Like if you just got into PC gaming, and you are an old school FPS fan, buying both boomer shooter bundles is a great way to start your collection.
