Gotta say, love it when I post an alternative option and instead of a thank you, I get a snarky comment. Well played!
My point? My point is that your hair is tasty and stylin'!

Ok, I can see your mind is thirsty for knowledge, so I shall oblige.

First, these games WERE free to begin with - that was the beauty of Flash sites back in the day. We sat on our PCs (yes, we didn't have the luxury of using these magical handheld devices anywhere we wanted) and we played crappy, basic games embedded on websites.

Second, the Steam ports seem to have some of these discerning old school players noting that there's framerate issues, lack of actual saves in cases, and issues with the achievements (some in part of having to sit through the entire collections due to the lack of saves).

If you have cash to burn and you want these inside your Steam library for the funsies - go for it, otherwise, there you go - a site with the original games within its own Flash launcher, along with thousands of other undiscovered games and apps just waiting for your eyes to be laid upon.

So, my point was that I just put that site up there, as I just found out about it myself, because I want people to know that there's free, completely legal alternatives out there to play the originals as they existed back in the day, and this bundle isn't the only opportunity there is to play them for less than retail asking price on Steam. (Yes, how about that - bundles are cheaper ways to get games than what they put them directly on Steam for - almost seems criminal, doesn't it??)

There you are, my liege, a tasty banquet of information fit for a king. Bon appetite!!
