For what it's worth, something sort of similar happened to The Indie Stone during the development of Project Zomboid. Their laptops with source code were stolen and if I remember correctly they had to start over. Was a devastating blow at the time but obviously they persevered and were able to have a successful game launch. That was an upcoming title though, not an older game like Grimm.

Don't worry, I know the works of McGee, I really like the games he's involved in.
Still, if you've got no working backup plan, than that's unprofessional, no matter how good your games are.
External drives and tape drives are very affordable. Ofc shit can happen, but with a good backup-plan you can avoid most scenarios (like this case, where apparently the code was only stored on 1 server).
A good UPS for your server is also a must-have if your company has a certain size or if you value your data and might have helped to avoid a server melt-down caused by electricity issues as described in the thread.
TL;DR: your work may be genius, but if you don't have a backup-plan, than that aspect of your company is unprofessional.

Well isn't it because they need lots of money? They will probably gather way more money than going with 2 Tiers this time. And don’t get me wrong… I’m not saying that Groupees is acting greedy. This time they are helping Julia Garmo who has Neuroblastoma (cancer) in late stage. So yeah… I hope people will give more than just 1$
