( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)?
Less DLC more upfront cost with a more polished game and free updates!

hm... good question. If movies can show nudity .. i'm pretty sure there are games in the store showing partial nudity .. or maybe full nudity .. I mean the anime one have a lot of boob already
or maybe in the future, there could be a whole NSFW section in the store ...

I'm sure I remember once, recently, a completely uncensored/uncut game on steam. There was a topic about it here, none of the usual "All Ages version for Steam".
In fact, there it is. Game was [Kindred Spirits on the Roof]
http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/l3yY1/incoming-18-visual-novel-uncensored-on-steam
Though it does later say "not so explicit" - boobs are seen, but not much else. No clear drawing of sexual activity but certainly implications of such. Just like in Witcher for example. But unlike Witcher, virtually the whole game is designed around that.
Of course, a few games like that can be re-patched to re-add the 18+ content, like NekoPara Vol.1 (at least according to multiple reviews. lol), though have seen some too that pretty much mean your pirating the game in the first place since have to remove the steam installation, which then results in no achievements or cards. >.< Like "If My Heart Had Wings".
But meh. Plenty of games that heavily imply nudity or sexual content too. Witcher series, Saints Row, Mass Effect, just to name a few. Why do they not get censored versions? Except for maybe Saints Row since half the game implies such, the others could have their scenes removed far easier than a novel that is part of the actual story.
In neither case do you buy a game for the H-content, you buy it for the game. If you wanted porn, you'd watch porn. Only difference is on Steam, you have to buy the content in question (unless going with a premium provider), so don't see the need for them to require games to be censored in the first place... All round people would get more money.
Unless its a conspiracy and some companies are doing it on purpose so people will buy direct from them for the uncensored/full version, so they bypass steam's "cut" ...

Steam allow for nudity, but not when nudity becomes a large part of the draw of the game (so no pornography, light or otherwise). That's why something like The Witcher is allowed, while something like a hentai game won't be allowed.
Same with movies, they seem to allow for some nudity, but they would not allow for a movie that could be argued to be porn.

Steam is full of double standards right now. For example - we can buy games that are allowed only for people above 18 and in the same time some games are censored. Also if you bought game that is not censored, but you dared to post screenshot from it and it contains nudity - you might get community ban (because OMG some teenager could see boobs).
And due to different laws in many countries even age verification won't help too much.

Since a vast array of games present a headshot as the coolest thing to do, I think the more games (or movies) featuring nudity the better.
Make love. Not war.

Looking at sales, I found a steam movie that contains nudity. I'm surprised that they allowed a trailer and screenshots of real boobs on the Steam store. Why is some nudity allowed while others are banned? Is it based on how present the nudity is or the content and context of it?
Anyway, this is allowed nudity

While this is not. (If the girls were actually naked.)
