Is buying a XBOX 360 controller for the Pc worth it?

Some games support only X-Box 360 controller. So, it worth.
Especially wireless controller (but you should buy wireless controller for PC, cause common wireless controller don't has receiver). Connecting PC to big TV and using wireless controller is really nice. But depends on your favourite games.

I just use a ps3 controller + motioninjoy to emulate a 360 controller, since I don't have any other type of gamepad at my disposal. Works flawlessly.

I bought a 360 controller about 2 months ago and have yet to use it :(

i would say its only worth getting one if you starting gaming on console and are making the jump to pc

It's useful for games that would typically be used with a gamepad (Darksiders, Assassin's Creed, racing games) if you want one. Definitely go for a 360 pad if you have the money, too. Most games with gamepad support are way easier to root controls to buttons with a 360 controller; some games are even automatically set up for one.

if you like racing games and platformers absolutely,the 10 bucks more will pay off.
