Duquality aka 2X Relaunch And 8 Year Anniversary! Apply For November

Greetings everyone! Duquality aka 2X is a giveaway group that I started back on October 01, 2017, and it ran for several years until December 16, 2021 when I had to put the group on hiatus. On October 1, 2025 Duquality will be relaunching on the 8 year anniversary!!

For those not familiar with Duquality, these are the core rules. Every month each member makes 2 scheduled group exclusive giveaways based on very positive Steam purchase reviews. Unlike many other giveaway groups, there is no ratio or value difference that you need to monitor, so your stats have no baring on anything here. You make your 2 giveaways each month and you can enter all GAs available and win what you win. Based on current max members for the relaunch(30), there will be 60 quality giveaways throughout the month.

One of the most important things for the original launch was to make sure it had a solid foundation of core members, so this will be one of the most important things for the relaunch as well. While there are people from the original group returning, I will be looking to bring in more people to form the core members. PLEASE NOTE: The relaunch month has 30 spots available and those are currently full, however next month the number of spots will increase. If you are interested please post a comment to be considered. Keep in mind not everyone who is interested in joining will be selected to be a member.

Membership Requirements To Join And Stay In Duquality

• You must be at least level 6 on SG.
• You need to maintain good status on SG as well as Steam.
• You need to have a recent giveaway history of games that fit the groups giveaway requirements.
• You need to make your 2 giveaways each month and deliver them within 7 days as stated in the SG guidelines.
• No begging for entries.

What Qualifies For A Scheduled Exclusive Giveaway

• Each member is given 2 dates, these are the dates that your two giveaways end on.
• Each giveaway has a minimum duration time of 5 days and a max of up to 13 days in advance.
• Every giveaway is exclusive to Duquality. No whitelist or other groups.
• Games need to be worth at least 10P on SG.
• Games used for GAs need to have least 150 Steam Purchase Reviews(Located above the game's release date) with a Very Positive(80% or better) rating.
• Each giveaway needs at least 5 entries to count towards your 2 monthly GAs.
• Giveaways that are heavily region locked can't be used. Please reach out if you wonder if a game can be used.
• If you chose to use a game with DLC the base game needs to follow the guidelines above.
• All other giveaways besides your scheduled ones go in the side group.

Example of the schedule: You received the 21st. You can create the GA anywhere between the 8th and the 17th and have it end on the 21st.

What Doesn't Qualify

• Any games listed on the SG No Value list (**)
• Visual/Kinetic Novels, Dating Sims, Hentai/Sexual Games (Examples are Steins;Gate, Date Everything, Koikatsu Party)
• Hidden Object Games (Examples are Big Fish games, Artifex Mundi)
• VR Games
• Movies/FMV
• Software
• DLC by itself

"Scheduled Group Exclusive Giveaways"

This is a very structured and organized group, so when I mention scheduled group exclusive giveaways, there is an actual giveaway schedule. Members are assigned dates for their two GAs, one GA will be at the start of the month and one is for the second half of the month. Being a solo moderator for many years this was what I preferred in order to keep track of things. It's also one of the reasons that I made a side group called Duquanity for giveaways that didn't fit into the main group's structure which you'll read about below. In the many years that Duquality was around the group ran like clockwork and had a lot of great members that followed the rules.

Side Group For Extra Giveaways

This is where every other giveaway besides the monthly scheduled ones go. Current and former members of 2X can post extra giveaways that include most things(not all) that don't meet the game/dlc requirements of the main group as shown in the "What Doesn't Qualify" section. Members can also include other groups and their whitelist in this side group. While the rules are a lot more lenient in the side group, there will still be some standards as to what can be used. Things such as "asset flips", "shovelware", "games" where the dev/publisher have inflated their prices, and games that are Hentai/sexual type games like a Sexy Furry Mothers 12(this isn't a real game) will not be something that is allowed even in the side group.

The Review System

The Steam review system has been updated and is different now. We go by "All Reviews" at the top near the dev name and to get that back you need to go into your settings in the top left corner of your steam client. Then under the account section look to the right for "Account Details" then click on that under "Store Preferences" go down to "Review Score Settings" and then change to "Include Reviews For All Steam Purchases". Once you do that it will make it so you can see "All Reviews" at the top again.
