I liked the old Indiegala bundles better, despite them being trash for most of the time.

Then good news, here it costs just as much as on the sale, with two free games included!

Full price outside the bundle/sales for the 3 games is $30, price of bundle $11, that's not even 66% off. Not a good deal. If buying bundles over the years has taught you anything, you mostly avoid deals like this that are less than 75% off at the absolute lowest. Unless what you're buying is a really REALLY good game it's just not worth small sale prices.

If buying bundles over the years has taught you anything,

..that is that bundles spoilt up to the point that we don't buy anything even if it costs third of its price, and at the same time we complain about that barely any bundle happens that would make such a choice valid. The bundle-bubble seems to burst.
I'm in a pritty shit financial situation right now, but setting arbitrary percentage limitations instead of valuing the games is something that was caused by building up a huge-ass backlog. It really skews how we perceive value. ( Affordable good game = cheap enough to throw into the mountain of unplayed games while still feeling happy about stricking "such a deal")

There is not just an inflation of bundles or other access to cheap games, but also an inflation of games themselves. The more you have of something, the less an individual product, and copy of a product is worth, especially if this is essentially free to distribute for whoever is selling it.

Agreed - also more and more games are less and less unique, while still many stays relatively good. But our time is not infinite, so decisions have to be made. It's not an easy situation, and from this aspect I'm pretty happy for fewer bundles, it keeps prices more real.

kinda... "me too", but sometimes... may happen... like up here... you know, they say it's hella "chilling" that PC Building Thing!

edit: missed at last sale, but very tempting bundle/price for me

Hm, personally never got into any kind of simulator thing myself. I did make an internship at a PC shop once tho, and yeah, PC building was kinda fun. It included real parts and screwdrivers and screws though and that was all the fun, for me at least.

it kinda look like a better fit for you than for me, then... weird!

(didn't grabbed at sale cause of dlc's, thou... they seems little "too greedy" to my eyes...)

Nah, misunderstanding here. Plugin stuff in and screwin screws in is what was fun for me. Clicking stuff in a simulated enironment does not involve the fun part, so ... I'll always favour the real thing over any kind of simulators.

I think keyboard and mouse is the absolute worst control to feel "there" - controllers and touchscreens beats it for more immersive controls with their own limitations. When it comes to tinkering and fidgeting, nothing beats the good old real life :P (until the haptic gloves out of Ready Player One)

Wow, you are the first woman I've met who has fun assembling computers. To me it's like a chore whenever I have to fix or upgrade my PCs. So this kind of simulators are not exactly what I'd like to play in my freetime.

On the other hand, screwing screws with fancy screwdrivers can be fun indeed, depending on your gear. :D

Well, I wouldn't make a hobby out of it, but yeah, I liked it :)
Wouldn't touch a simulator though.

Agreed. The old bundles were mostly trash, but at least they were bundles. These "3 games for 10 bucks" deals are so not worth it.

Already played Sinless (and wasn't all that impressed with it), already own PC Building Simulator (and haven't had time to begin it), and have no interest in Rogue Bit. That makes this an easy pass.

Thanks anyway for the thread. :)

Evidently the Sinless "No Value" date of April 26 2018 aligns with this prior giveaway at freesteamkeys, but during an IG bundle that started on April 21 (source). Do all giveaways posted on that keys site result in a "No Value" flag on SG? Hopefully it was just because this particular giveaway linked to a page hosted on a marketing platform (now not accessible) which would fit SG's definition of a game being "available for free in online promotions". However, how do we know its an online promo from the dev/pub and not some random internet user who gave away a few keys on some random site?

In any case I added Sinless to my wishlist, and hope to get it in a giveaway or by other means - Love the drum & base vibe from the music!

Will pass because of price, but thanks as always for the chart!

So I guess this is the end of weekly IG bundles which featured quantity as well? I really didn't want to be right about witnessing the demise of bundles, but the signs are only piling on.

Wow, what is happening with the IG bundles? I used to buy probably 1 per week...now it's like 1 every month or two. Price went up, quantity went down, and only in a couple of cases has this been justifiable with higher-quality games or software. For the most part, it's just been 5 or 6 of the same quality games instead of around 8-10, and the price is generally about a buck higher. I probably couldn't argue too much with the buck increase (if profit margins are that narrow) if the quantity hadn't been so dramatically reduced as well.

And these 3-game bundles where the games seem to have zero relation to one another are just confusing, usually really overpriced, and I never buy them. If there are only going to be three games, then they'd better all 3 be pretty high quality games that haven't been bundled a dozen times in the past already.
