Haha! Well, I don't work with any bundle sites. I only do threads on sg cuz I apparently like to waste time to make people happy :P!

Could be cool to work with a bundle site though!

Well, I think who better to have a bundle then someone who buys every bundle known to man/woman and who post threads to make people happy!!!!! You could make an awesome bundle that would make people happy and then post it and make people happier! Thanks a lot by the way, I really appreciate all the work you do!!!

So you can spend 1$ on 28 steam games at bundlestars, 20 of which have cards, or buy 2 greenlight games here, which may or may not come to steam. I am baffled that more than 1.200 people bought that bundle on groupees.

24 have cards* ^^'

But well, pre-order ftw. And why not buy both if one is interested in casual games :p

Shanghai, time management, solitaire and even some completely unexpected Picross? I am satisfied.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

it's hard for me to grasp someone actually paying for Picross when even Nintendo of all things offers it for free

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

With the small entry cost of actually having to own a Nintendo unit.

Besides, that logic can be applied to literally every genre.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

And it requires some kind of hardware or cost of entry to play literally every game so that's besides the point. I mentioned Nintendo because they are not exactly known for being charitable and giving away things, and less so something that's actually 'good', so if even they are willing to give Picross for free then it just goes to show you that it is the sort of thing that can typically be found for free if you know where to look, and not just some rudimentary or dumbed-down experience comparatively speaking. Which can probably be said of the sort of things in this bundle in general because it is very casual stuff. And no, all of the various genres would not be at all equivalent in this regard.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I didn't say that all genres are equal in this way, I said that all genres have free variants. The question is whether or not it's quality and worth the time, and neither you nor I know if this one is any good since it's not out yet. Maybe it's the best Picross game of all time? Maybe it isn't. I'll take the shocking $0.14 gamble and find out.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

all genres have free variants

Even if that were true most of them would not offer the same experience as a full-fledged paid game. If there is any genre that suffers the least as a result of that it is the "casual" genre. While it's good that you are okay with your purchase, personally speaking I'd rather just look up these sort of games on [insert free flash game site].

Unfortunately, i pre-ordered it. What a bunch of crap. It's the same price as the Build a Greenlight bundles (which i usually buy) but with one less bonus game and with one that was already bundled (Solitaire Halloween Story). Besides, the selection of games is very poor, with games that usually we can find for free to play on the browser (1001 Jigsaw. Earth Chronicles, OR, Fill and Cross. Pirate Riddles, Final Quest II DX Online). One of the worse bundles ever.

I'm easy to please, so I actually think this is a pretty nice bundle of casual games. :3

I'm happy. I like the greenlight ones because I never know when I'm going to get a key to a new game in my account. It's always a nice surprise and I've almost always forgotten by then about even having bought it.
