Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChartâ„¢ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

How much to you like Software bundles?

View Results
[T1] I'll package myself a T1.
[T2] Tier 2 will get me started.
[T3] Purchase beyond Fences
[Skip] I loooove Software bundles! They keep my money unspent.

i'm using Start10+Fences (bought both in steam store)

Start10 is useless app, Fences is ducking awesome (specially with Wallpaper engine). But 15$ for fences is toooooo much.

Also there was a bundle on steam Start10+Fences, but looks like dev removed it..

Fences was also in the $1 tier of the Humble Lifehacker Bundle in 2016, though it wasn't a Steam key.

'OpenShell'

Original dev stopped working on ClassicShell ,made it opensource .
It was moved to github and given a new name.

OpenShellSetup_4_4_131.exe

edit:
Though i'm not sure if the old ClassicShell is better for win7 users.
I use OpenShell on Win10.

The case seemed more nuanced than that to me.

Not opposed to a Stardock bundle but it seems like they just picked the worst ones and sprinkled a useful one in each tier. Not really interested.

Also, I like to keep my computer's resources used in getting the best of my games, instead of giving them away to apps that will make it prettier or whatever.

That's me right there. I stopped caring about how my Windows looks a long time ago. I was completely in it back then, changing almost anything on my Windows 7, themes, icons, using custom Rocket Dock, Start menu etc., lots of gimmicks. Today i basically have everything standard, a bare minimum (just 1 Rainmeter bar across the top of the Desktop) and i don't care about "customizing" anymore, which was very time consuming. Time flies.

Exactly. There is enough crap packaged in Windows that needs to be "optimized" with all the extra services, automated useless BS and eye candy niceties that nobody cares about so once I'm done with that, I have spent enough time on stuff I didn't care about in the first place. Anybody who uses aaaall these Stardock apps can just save some money and buy a Mac :P (they'll end up with the same: unusable for gaming and super pretty)

Getting $1 tier for Icon Packager. Don't really think BTA / $15 tier is worth it. I bought a license for Fences a while back, and while it's decent software I don't keep many icons on the desktop anymore so I don't use it now. Windowblinds is (IMO) redundant with UltraUXThemePatcher, Classic Shell and StartisBack which I'm using now are both better than Start10, haven't tried Spacemonger but WinDirStat still works fine for me. Can't comment on the others as I haven't used them.

SpaceMonger looked like it might be useful for me.
I'll check out WinDirStat first though. Thanks. :D

I prefer the old free version of spacemonger over the new one but I do use windirstat cause when I do a new install and head over to ninite.com its right there.

I stopped caring about my desktop a long time ago since I could just pin useful stuff on Start Menu. I guess I won't be needing that Fences again

I used Multiplicity a few years ago and it was quite good, except for a few bugs here and there but, apparently, the version on Steam appears to have some issues, so I recommend reading some reviews before getting it.

Fences is sweet to have, but for 15$ I would consider thinking about how much you need it. But it's nice for cluttered desktops

I have completely disabled my Desktop icons because it looks cluttered and ugly, now it looks completely clean and i can properly see the Wallpaper, instead i use Launchy to find what i want to run. Give it a go.

Is there any difference between Steam version of Fences and the one sold on Stardock?
