Do 25431 and 51432 really lead to the same result? 2 and 5 are the same but 1 and 5 or 1 and 2 are not the same, unless I'm missing something.

Well, no, not if you apply them in the same way. When I created it, I had one sorting process in mind, leading to the first number I provided, but someone pointed out a different way of interpreting the sorting process, which would require a different number to reach the same result. Basically, I'm saying "try 25431 and if that doesn't work for you 51432 should".

Free bump, pretty easy after you figure out the bigger words.
Even if that 25431 & 51432 stuff had initially lead me to the WRONG answer using 51432 xD

I won a nice game today, and I'm really digging this community, so...here's my first little puzzle for 4 copies of an 89% positively-reviewed, non-bundled game.
Hopefully this isn't as mind-blowing as some of the puzzles I've been beating my head against - just a little mental exercise for you! Cryptograms seemed intimidating to me the first time I came across one, but once you get the hang of them, they're quite nice. :)
Don't give up on this one - I made it specifically because I've been feeling bewildered by the other puzzles on here. Start with the basic form of this puzzle from the title:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptogram
Found a nice tool to help with the solving process (not a cracker, you still do the solving):
http://scottbryce.com/cryptograms/
Once you get the cryptogram worked out, the rest should be pretty straightforward if you understand the basic goal of puzzles on SteamGifts, described here:

CPX CXEEC CXU-CPXEEC LI MPX CXU-CPJAX.
MPX CPXEEC CPX CXEEC UAX CXU-CPXEEC, O'S CFAX.
BJA OB CPX CXEEC CXU-CPXEEC LI MPX CXU-CPJAX
MPXD O'S CFAX CPX CXEEC CXU-CPJAX CPXEEC.
25431
Edit: Someone kindly pointed out a bit of ambiguity in the use of the 5-digit number at the bottom. If you're sure you have all of the right letters, but you're just not able to get the code to work, try applying the numbers a bit differently, or try this alternate number instead: 51432. I'll have to find a better way of denoting this next time to avoid ambiguity.
