Your favourite HOMM 3 creature and Town?

I've been getting back into HOMM 3(Been years since I played). My friends and I have always argued on which creature is the "best". My personal favourite creatures are Griffins. You get them in high numbers(if there is a week of the Griffin, GG you win), they have infinite retaliations, and can fly over obstacles.

I've always played castle. I never really play anything else, unless I don't have a choice.(Campaign, Scenarios) Most the time I play HOMM 3, its on a random map.

What is your favourite creature and Town?

Oh god, so many hours on that game! My favorite town is the Necropolis, hands down. As for units, there are several interesting ones: vampires, liches, griffins...

My favourite town is the Stronghold, it got relativly strong army, especially with the thunderbird, plus, the cyclops can also used as a catapult. (and got the best town music in my opinion :))

Sometimes I still play it today.. Costs me a lot of time everytime I start it :D

Town: Dungeon

Hero: Always the one with +350 Gold per day

Creature: Zealot

Well... skeletons are harldy best or the cheapest unit of tier 1.

Better choice would be 50k troglodytes (which are 10 gold cheaper)

or

50k pikemans with best defence and HP for tier 1 (but 10 gold more)

50k centaurs with better HP and dmg (but 20 gold more)

So rationaly speaking skeletons are just cannon fodder.

Sure they are, but you can summon them in masses after fights. That's what I liked about Necropolis heroes.

Rampart and dragons were my favorite from 3. I do have 6 but haven't played it much lately.

Although I do like the Necropolis in both 3 and 6. The devil in inferno ispretty badass but I didn't like the other units.
