Pass.

Also Recurring Evil is not only the shittiest Painkiller game ever, but I couldn't even finish level 2 due to a lot of bug/save file problem. It was literally unplayable to me.

Of course if it's the only game you look for, then probably you could buy it in a summer sale for less than tier 3.
But the rest of the bundle has awesome Trainz 12 and exceed.
If you are into shooters exceed and excced 2nd are great.
also Spaz is great and Sacraboar is a solid RTS.

On the current Bundle Stars, you serious? :/
It's like only a wild mix of games that have nearly all been in other indie bundles before... no thanks

Yes, the current one. I already owned half the games myself, but it had games I wanted and great titles I'm happy to share with friends.

Also, given your other posts proclaiming the greatness of the linked bundle, I think you might just be a rep like others assumed.

Omg, 11 Steam Games in one bundle?
And most of them unseen before in bundles and some pretty awesome ones as well?

You guys did it again, I love it! <3

Seriously... in the beginning I wasn't sure what to think about Indiegala bundles, but by now you guys provide the by far most AWESOME bundles around no doubt!!! :D
(Can't wait for the secret Steam games to be revealed!!! ^_^)

Well, I partly agree with the rep;

  • 11 Steam Games in one bundle
  • unseen before in bundles (not sure about the awesome part though)
  • can't wait for bonus Steam games

The post may seem over-enthusiastic, but hey, it's really not bad of a deal. I know that some of us are spoiled with some great bundles with AAA titles (Telltale Games, Alan Wake and stuff), but it is INDIE Gala after all. For a 6$ you get buttloads of decent games (it's worth it for Trainz alone if you are into that kind of games) - either to play them, improve your collection or give'em away.

SPAZ, at least, is awesome, but it's also been in a previous bundle, and on Indiegamestand.

Bought it, It's worth it for the eXceed 3rd alone
(& 2nd if someone likes Ikaruga-knock-offs, I do not as the polarity system irritates me to no end) - SPAZ is really fine if someone still does not have it, and trainz simulator bundling is probably nice marketing strategy on their part [as anyone who really wanted the game already has it, and there might be some who never knew they'd like such a game - and now they might even buy some DLC if they really get into it - the usual way some games are bundle cough Magicka cough]

Great bundle, with almost no repeats and great quality games like exceed series, Trainz and Spaz.
Not sure why haters here always bash gala.

IMO this is the best bundle of the summer, so far.

"Haters" bash Indie Gala because many of their bundles have been filled with second or third rate games, and their staff is completely incompetent.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I agree on the second point, but the first is unfair. Every bundle site has 2nd and 3rd rate games in its bundles.

it is almost 1 year that Indiegala bundles has best lineup after Hib. They started with Magicka and Deponia, Painkiller : BE ( the good one ), Cities in Motion, Trine, all the Introversion games, King arthur's collection, Tropico 4 , EDF, Vessel, A New Beginning, Shank 2, Shadowgrounds, Saira, Altitude ... just to name few of them i got.
If you think that these are 2nd or 3d rate games you should not even look at other bundle websites.
( they even had MassEffect 2 once but you may say it is crap because not Steam or not indie ( or both ) )

Curiously, many "other" bundle websites started doing indiegala repeats and were praised here. Coincidence?

Regarding their staff, many people judge them only because they banned a SG guy from galagiveaways.

Yeah, those were some good bundles. Loved IG Magicka so much that I got several of 'em so I could gift out a few extra keys.

And as for their staff, I've never had issues with the person that I've talked to. And a friend of mine recently had a problem with someone leaving them negative feedback on one of their giveaways three minutes after the GA ended. After she send Gala an email, they got it sorted out very quickly.
And I've also never had problems with my purchases from the Gala store or IndieGala.com. I've always gotten my bundles on time, and all of the keys and downloads worked like they are supposed to. Perhaps IG used to have issues, and improved dramatically since the time when a lot of folks had problems with 'em. Dunno. I'm quite pleased with their services, and will continue to buy games from them whenever I find a good deal.

Pretty good bundle! Instant because of Exceed series. Also, I've heard that Sacraboar is an interesting title. If you are interested in getting a tier 3, but you are unsure because of the amount of money it requires I suggest to join a group buy and wait for Happy Hour. ;)

Not a bad (Indie) bundle for the price. Quite a few I want (Oniken, Doom and Destiny, Space Pirates and Zombies, Sacraboar) and while its not my kind of game the train sim looks like a must have for my dad (he loves trains).
