The original Unreal Tournament (UT99, to some), and ZZT. Yes, ZZT, Epic's bizarre ASCII game engine that probably -still- has a major following. If you can find all four parts of the "Evil Sorceror's Party" module--it's a must-play. Especially if you liked Unreal.
