I have bought multiple of the lowest tiers in Fanatical bundles just to get a copy of a game before and here it's actually discounted instead of ending up costing more so I like it.

all bundle splits that i know are only held in a certain region and i can't use paypal nor revolut for international transfer. and everyone seem to only want to use that when doing bundle splits.

Some people in splits may not state it (I don't) but you should be able to do Gems, TF2, or any sort of way to get wallet in the hosts account as an alternative. You still have to be mindful of locks though of course.

honestly i feel like i would be a bother if i spam all threads that state things like PP only with question like that, hahah.
anyway, how do you calculate the conversion cost tho? and do you usually have to pay more money than what it actually stated if i use things like wallet?

Not sure how many people take wallet as an alternative, it's only spam if the percentage is low. You'll have to find out what each user would be fine with "overpaying". Some may be happy with 1:1, some may want 1:1.2 (this is the max of "overpay" per the rules I believe).
Simplest may just be trying to find someone you know on discord that would be happy doing payments on your behalf. I have someone that sends and takes my EU payments on my behalf while I send and take US payment on his behalf and then we end up using Revolut to even up the "bill" after a while. You can find an alternative that would work for you with one of your friends such as gifting them via Steam, buying a key/bundle on their behalf, etc.

my point is that it feels like i'm not reading the thread if the host specifically meant not taking other payment method as an alternative and i straight just ask them about it. and then what if i transfer them wallet and then it converts to a lower price than what was agreed? :')
the simplest method might sound simple at first but finding the person is the hardest task, hahah.

Well thats actually the thing. I can only buy giftcards since i can buy things online with card but cant transfer directly to other people. That or buy other games in official retailers like fanatical or hb at similar price. Checked wise and the rate is horrendous enough since it almost doubled the price and it ends up easier to just buy the game on steam when it is on sale.

I meant using Wise like Revolut or PayPal, as a payment account where you keep money & send money to other people. If this is supported in your region.
Not using Wise like Western Union, where you transfer from your third party bank and they send it to the recipient's other third party bank.

so are you saying that doing a transfer from your third party bank to the recipient's third party bank has currency conversion + extra free
but doing a transfer from your wise account to the recipien't wise account only has the currency conversion?

I assume they mean the Humble account getting in trouble, not SG. There were incidents in the past where this has happened. If you have problems with a key from HB you better not tell Humble support that you gave it away on SG and someone other than you has problems activating it.

I got that, but why? They literally have a gifting feature - you can send a gift link and if they have an issue, they can contact HB.

Beats me. Maybe your account gets flagged when you create too many gift links (however many that is) because they suspect you to be a reseller? We would have to ask someone to whom this happened.
You are right though. This shouldn't get you in trouble because it is one of their features. But I stopped creating gift links many years ago after reading some of those horror stories. Just to be sure.

Those were in the past abused as then resellers/retraders were amass asking for gift links that eventually flagged their accounts and got them banned, albeit who knows this may as well flag it or would be exempt from it because it is meant to be gifted to a friend whether through the gift link or code wise. In any case it should be fine for this particular bundle as long as someone isn't smart enough to ever approach their support and mention about they were either (re)selling/retrading any of the games.
