[Buy to learn languages] I'm on the highway to polyglotism and nothing can stop me!
[Buy for the typing games] A nice mechanical keyboard or some clickety-clack games? I'm going with the cheaper option!
[Have] I've learnt Japanese so many times over, I'm basically qualified to create a fourth writing system for them.
[Expensive] I'll just do some Meditation over here until it costs a third of what they want at the moment.
[Skip] They can try to tempt me, but they will never take my singular love for freedom fries. I won't want to type at more than 50 WPM and I'm sure not up for learning no foreign madspeak!

thanks for the thread, but with this money i rather buy a choice

This was the first time in ages that I actually saw the promotion of a humble bundle on their site BEFORE there was a post here. I was afraid I would have to think about which of these games I own but luckily here it is. Thanks for your great service :)

I was sleeping at the time the bundle was posted. I usually shift my schedule upside down and/or interrupt my sleep only to check if there's a bundle or not, but I thought that it's the end of the year and they won't release one, so this time only I decided to not set an alarm. Boy, I was wrong...
Sorry for the late thread. 😥

Mwah some repeats but better then groupees, especially if you want to "learn a language".

I already learned a bunch of languages at beginner level, know both katakana and hiragana, don't think I need meditation in a video game, have all the rebundled games and don't see anything with "oomph factor" that would tip the scale towards me buying the bundle.
Unfortunately for HB, I can either wait for these to get bundled with something I really want, or can just live without these.
Safe skip with zero regret.

I kinda want PLAYNE and Terra Alia, but not enough to shell out the money they want for the whole thing. I'm terribly uninterested in learning Japanese, comes on top of it. So skip coz expensive.

Thank you for your dedication, Lilly.

inflation

Yes, because of inflation in must-haves such as energy and food, people buy less nice-to-haves such as games. Publishers and bundlers fail to meet their inflated budget targets and try to get more money by increasing prices. But it will lead to people buying even less, we'll see what happens next...

I really want Playne and I enjoy Epistory so would probably like Nanotale too. I'm trying to get better at Spanish so Terra Alia and Influent could potentially be helpful? I already have The Textorcist and the Learn Japanese to Survive games. I don't know. Is it worth $12?

I tried Influent once for Spanish, too, but it's pretty basic vocabulary, no grammar. You have to find items to learn nouns and only if you have completed that, you get to learn some adjectives and verbs. Didn't motivate me at all.

I wishlisted it a few years back when I was studying Korean, but after your review I can safely remove it now. Better stick to the phone apps I guess.

Yeah, apps, foreign communities and TV shows / movies (with subtitles first) are probably the best method.

Interesting games. Two on my wishlist and another one joined them just now.
But I already have 6 of the games, so no point in buying.

Freedom fries ? isn't that an imaginary thing like Iraq's mass destruction weapons ?
Well, as long as I can eat them, I don't really care about what it's called. I prefer kiss upon fries anyway :-)
