So 2019 is here and with a new year comes new game releases to wait for. So I thought it'd be great for a discussion thread about games in general we are all looking forward to. I'll also have this list of notable releases throughout the year so that people knows a bit about what is releasing. If the thread is active whenever something new is announced or release dates change I will update it.

Last Updated: February 1 2019: Released games removed. Dr Mario World for mobile announced.

I myself are looking forward to a bunch of these games, but the closest one for me is Kingdom Hearts III, which I will buy on PS4 because PlayStation is where the series has been. Other games on my "will really buy" are One Piece, Doom Eternal, Gears 5, Pokémon, Star Wars, Wolfenstein and possibly my first Animal Crossing to see what the fuss has been all these years with these games. I own all three major consoles so I can enjoy everything.

Now what about you, what are you looking forward to? Have I forgotten something you want to play? Mention it down below and talk about it! I'm sure there's plenty of other games to be released. AAA & Indie.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood! Might be the first game in the series that I'll give a shoot.

If you haven't played the other 2 games from the recent years you should, they are great. Especially if you like old school shooters.

Seeing this thread a game called Escape the Loop appeared in my mind. I was like "Haven't checked this game in a while but I remember it said something about the first episode coming out in Q4 2018... when's it coming out?" Checked the Steam store page.

"If everything goes as planned, we will begin development of the first prototype by Q4 2018. This gets us to an estimated release date of early 2021."

Nvm then.

15 Feb gonna be awesome and horrible for me lol. Already have Origin Access Premier, Xbox Game Pass and Metro Exodus. Probably gonna start with Anthem, play for a few hours then if Metro is fine on launch, will switch to that.

Felix the Reaper looks great!
Afterparty, from the devs of Oxenfree, also comes out in 2019... Necrobarista, In the Valley of Gods and The Outer Worlds are other titles I'm pretty hyped up for :)

All of these look great! Added Afterparty & In the Valley of Gods to the list as they are notable enough :) But Necrobarista looked damn cool and I added it to the wishlist.

A few non-Steam city/village builders:

  1. Ostriv
  2. Ancient Cities
  3. Lords & Peasants

(Ancient Cities and Lords & Peasants were both on Steam Greenlight, so they should be on Steam eventually).

Games (and DLC) not mentioned:

  1. Firefighting Simulator
  2. Among Trees
  3. Outer Wilds
  4. American Truck Simulator -- Washington (state) DLC

And from the list:

Anno 1800
The Outer Worlds
