I didn't own a single one of them, so I'm happy about my big investment of $1. But sure, I can also happily live without these preorders, I was just wondering about the future plans for them.

I think its something the team wants to keep doing. But users who don't want to preorder are still free to wait until the bundle is fully released before they make the purchase.
