2-Put a limit on the number of people that you can blacklist and make the limit increase with LVLs.

Why not play the devil's advocate and demand to be voted into SG support by your support buddies (if and when you have those) because as a support member you can enter anyone his or her giveaways, even those that have you blacklisted. ;-)

Did you find a satisfactory solution to your problem that doesn't include things like hacking, bribing support or using a state of the art blacklist script?

Other ideas!

1. Add a new type of giveaway "blacklist only giveaways", which people in your blacklist and only people in your blacklist can enter. That way, when someone blacklists you, they might actually be intending to create a bunch of blacklist-only giveaways, so you won't have to feel bad!

2. Every time one person blacklists someone else, there's a notification, but it gets sent to a random person active on Steamgifts rather than to the person who was blacklisted (eg. you will randomly get messages out of the blue saying "X has blacklisted Y!"

3. After getting that notification five times, you get a button you can push to remove the last five blacklists against other people you were alerted about - however, if you do, a totally random innocent person will get blacklisted by one of the people involved instead! This will cause SG users to deeply consider the moral and ethical issues involved in pushing vs. not pushing the button.

4. A "blacklist everyone" button, which adds every single Steamgifts user to your blacklist while it's pressed. This solves the issue of blacklists sometimes not being long enough. Pushing this button increases absolutely everyone's "number of people who have blacklisted you" counter, which makes the number (even more) meaningless. There is no way to determine if a new blacklist is someone blacklisting you specifically, or someone who has chosen to blacklist everyone.

5. Three-way blacklists. Every time you blacklist someone, either you or they will automatically get an additional one-way blacklist in a random direction with a random user.

6. All users get a Blacklist Level that increases based on the number of times you've been blacklisted. Blacklist Level giveaways can be created, which can only be entered by people with the given Blacklist Level (or higher.)

7. A button you can push to make other Steamgift users like you. All Steamgift users are required to have special chips installed in their brains to make this work. That way, if someone blacklists you, you can push the button and they'll unblacklist you.

8. Every time anyone blacklists anyone else, a thread is automatically created for it in the forums so people can discuss the new blacklist. Additionally, a random pair of users are automatically assigned the roles of prosecution and defense attorney and must argue for / against the blacklist entry in question. The court does not have the ability to change blacklists, but can award Internet Points up to the value of the CV of the involved users.

9. Give users the ability to blacklist themselves so they don't accidentally get confused and enter their own giveaways.
