When the sale starts and everybody outside crafters can make cards, the price usually plummets. There may be a millisecond when people start buying, but it is always a short window.
Not to mention that the prices are already almost non-existent. Which I like very much. :D

Got 0 Mystery cards - put all my usual cards on market instead since price started to rise ;p out of 500 cards 249 sold so far, earning 15 EUR. God I love Winter Sales :D:

Well, if only the minigame will drop cards during sales again, and it will only add in-game bonuses for badges crafted after its start, I would say that if you want to make badges, you should wait until the sale starts.
If you just want to sell them… well, that already low price won't go up too much, if at all…

too much event cards needed for completing sets now
