Is your country okay with it? Are there any political leaders who will cause the same thing that happened in Ukraine and Russia?🙄

In any case, you will be relieved to know that most of the earth has not become so accustomed to turning away from reality and claiming that a deer is a horse....
Huh? Not so? It is better to be prepared for any eventuality now.

Ukraine seeing a lull in Russian missile attacks, air force says

"over the past week we haven’t seen the use of cruise missiles or Shahed drones. The enemy is unable to constantly launch massive missile strikes due to the shortage of weapons."
He said the Russians were running short of ballistic missiles and air-launched cruise missiles.
"The shortage of enemy weapons concerns both "Iskanders" and X-555 and X-101 missiles, and especially Kalibr-type missiles. "
"In October, up to 15 Kalibr-type missiles were used. This weapon cannot be quickly manufactured and put into operation."

It would be the common perception on earth against the Russian government.

Russian citizens will be drafted and sent to the front lines to die or be captured and exchanged and when they return they will be treated as escaped soldiers and executed.
Such is the state of affairs now that the government is firing the evil garbage it has accumulated.
I would rather Russia be inadvertently attacked with nuclear missiles sooner or later.(In fact, I think something more horrifying than nuclear missiles would happen.)

Incidentally, the United Nations has an "enemy clause”.
UN Enemy State Clause - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UN_Enemy_State_Clause
Chapter XVII of the United Nations Charter - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapter_XVII_of_the_United_Nations_Charter

🇩🇪🇯🇵🇮🇹<We have the right to be hit by other countries at any time.
For example, nuclear warheads may suddenly fly from Russia on a daily basis.
As the distance between worlds has shortened over the years, matters that could have been "left alone" at the time now threaten to "immediately end the routine.
(This is probably due to the fact that politicians in many countries are keen on having easy public support and not being dissatisfied....)
Because of these backgrounds, Germany and Italy look to Russia.
Japan will be looking at Russia, China, and the U.S.
(I think this is why sometimes strange things happen from the ukraine side.)

This distortion is really a terrible story that is now surfacing.
Whether or not the international community can come up with an appropriate answer to this distortion within the next six months will determine whether the future of the human race will be a hell or a decline and extinction, and whether the octopuses of the sea will rule the earth.

[nonsense]
In spite of this, Japan has long been giving money to the world for various events through the United Nations.
There was a time when China, with the support of the U.S., also invested a large amount of money that Japan contributed.
If they had put that money into their own country, they would have moved to the moon by now. Earth is scary.
I want to move my entire country to a planet where there is no military power.🚀🌌ESC
The Russian government should just move to the sun or something.☀

I have a feeling that the appropriate country for this "enemy clause" is the Russian government. Really.

Rockets or missiles reported to have landed in Poland near Ukrainian border, killing 2
Zelensky says Russian missiles hit Poland, which Polish authorities have not confirmed
While Russian media suggest Ukrainian missiles hit Poland

This could have huge consequences, because Poland is a member of NATO. If Russia is held responsible for the strike on Poland, NATO could really enter this war.

My condolences to the victims from the Russian government in Poland.

Is there any country that will be destroyed by saying that the first shot may have been a misfire? Some humans probably associate the Russian government's confirmation process with "doomsday".
Looking at the words and actions of those who are trying to spread this "doomsday" topic, it could be considered as an attempt to "atrophy" against such "support" or a maneuver to increase the "pessimistic momentum" for the next war as a problem of other countries rather than one of their own.

The right thing to do is to wait until the evidence has been examined.

(The landing sites in Poland will have been preserved...)

Currently, as for conspiracy theories, some may say that Ukraine has shot, and Belarus has shot.
Russia claims it didn't shoot, because it didn't shoot. (No need to discuss the doubts.)
There is no proof, so people will let their negative thoughts run wild and get concerned on their own.

Please, Polish people, have a normal day.

But most people will be anxious... It's a good idea to make sure you have enough stockpiles for a disaster, and to check expiration dates.
It is also a good idea to check the evacuation site.
Anxiety is magnified when it is unclear what to do in case something happens.
It is also a good idea to have emergency contact information for your family and friends.
It's not a bad idea to decide in advance, for example, to meet at a relative's house in a neighboring country in the worst case scenario.

Humanity can patch up against the unrest for now and see what happens until the NATO talks and damage site surveys are done.

If people request the "doomsday" that they often do, they will throw the most powerful one at the hardest target to hit, aiming at the human nature that the first shot might be a misfire, and when it succeeds, they will throw in an extra one, and when it fails, they will excuse it as not their fault and the field commander's outburst.

It won't get that far but it is a good pretext to make some decisions without Russia being able to complain.
NATO article 4 will likely be used. (Article 4 of the NATO treaty covers the case when a member state feels threatened by another country or a terrorist organization. The 30 member states then start formal consultations at the request of the threatened member.)

Not to be confused with NATO article 5

Turkey used Article 4 about a year ago.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeh, article 4 will most likely happen to begin with.
Article 5 isn't likely as it were probably stray rockets and not an attack on Poland. But it is a VERY VERY VERY dumb mistake to make.
I do really hope NATO does strike back hard somehow. Give them better air defense, more and better military equipment. Anything without starting WW3.

Somewhat I do hope NATO get seriously involved. Of course I know it isn't very smart at all. But these people are just monsters and should be dealt with...

Condolences to Poland.

Take care Ukrainian heros! Get them f'ers!

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Article 5 shouldn't be triggered even if it is found it was shot by the pigs.
But NATO has to give some retort to Russia. Either way this being stray rocket or deliberate incompetence from senseless bombing, putler will see how NATO responds from direct hit in out territory.

If Biden continues to make stupid public claims and everyone will try to ignore this and act like it's just another day then putler will have his opinion on us proved right - we are cowards and he can push the limit however much he wants. That degenerate and his pathetic army has to be shown their place and how they can't risk the world with this moronic war.

I'm not talking direct military response - but limiting them and providing borders (and UA) with serious anti air missile system is something that must happen. Russia will run out of it's rockets - even Iran and NK will choke on their support, but we have to protect enough lives as possible until that happens.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I totally agree. More and better air defense systems would be best. Civilians should be protected. It is the most important thing.
But I hope NATO will make a very clear statement and shows some balls. This shouldn't go unanswered. I think they should supply Ukraine with longer range missiles so they can cut off Russian supply on Russian soil. Cut the snake off by the head. But that is probably wishful thinking as it will escalate even more.

We will see. Lets hope NATO will "strike back" as much as they can without starting WW3.

Certainly, given the past actions of the Russian government, it would be credible.
However, the party responsible for the damage is Poland, not Ukraine, and the right thing to do is to wait and see until Poland comes to the right conclusion.

Even if it was anti-aircraft fire in response to a missile attack by the Russian government, if it was a stray bullet in response to an attack by the Russian government, it would not change the fact that the casualties from the Russian government were in Poland. :(

Russia hardly has intelligence of what is going on out in the field.

They shot 110 rockets at Ukraine blindly (otherwise they have to admit hitting residential buildings was deliberate attack). I doubt they have a single intelligence that could prove or disprove involvement of Ukraine in this rocket hit ..... and to be frank I am quit certain they legitimately don't know if it was their own rocket or not. Most likely just your regular counter and accuse tactic they have used since forever.

If we take into Ryan McBeth analysis that it was stray rocket which missed the target near border, then again it points to the fact that Russia is precise and they are deliberately shooting at civilians. Neither way looks good for Russia.

IMO the conclusion most likely will be a stray Ukrainian rocket shot for interception of a Russian rocket. To make it sound as neutral as possible...... I mean NATO and USA hardly want outright war with Russia... and while I of course doubt that Russians where doing it deliberately, sweeping this under the rug even if it was them is beneficial if we want to get Russia at negation table

Fun fact - The Independent has an article which states that it WAS Ukraine rocket. While citing last nights comments of anonymous source that it "might be" Ukraine shot rocket. Basically preliminary statement Biden and analysts claimed. The point is - the article doens't have any proof but makes it as concrete facts - I made comment asking why are they stating it as a fact if they are basing it on yesterdays preliminary statements.... They deleted my comment. But not another one which asks if Poland will invoke Article 5 against Ukraine.......... These garbage and smear journalism is cancer of 21st century information space.

Protip: When a system seems to be broken, it most often is working perfectly as designed/planned, just not as we're told it's supposed to work.

The journalistic cancer is done to muddy the situation, and thus peoples ability to make choices based on valid information has been destroyed in the past 20 years. Cognitive dissonance is the rule of the day. What do you believe? Well here's a bunch of information, people, and echo chambers that agree with you, peppered with references of people that believe the opposite, just to keep you in a distracted state of triggered and "on tilt". Thus ever more easily controlled.

This is no longer the age of information. It has been the age of disinformation warfare for quite some time. Although i'm not quite sure when in the aughts it died. I'm gonna go with when Obama signed into the law, the legal ability for the US government to target US citizens with propaganda.

On top of that, it may be that Ukraine launched an interceptor anti-aircraft missile to prevent a missile attack by the Russian government, which unfortunately fell on Polish territory.

In the end, the Russian government is still to blame, but it is very sad that the Polish people have not only suffered economically and in their lives, but have also lost their lives because of the Russian government.

Hopefully this will stop countries from supporting the Russian government's scrap missile spree....

President Zelensky seemed to raise the question on live TV.
However. Unlike President Zelensky, as Foreign Minister he seems to take the stance that "the ultimate responsibility lies with the Russian government."
He is probably generally correct.👓

I am seeing people actually saying that the peace is not achieved because Zelenski supposedly is stubborn..... Just trying to bomb UA into oblivion, trying to force it into forfeit by simply causing as much death and suffering as possible. Solovyov seems less inclined to praise Donald Trump. In the past, rashist propagandists held Donald Trump in high esteem. [Video LINK]

The very reason for this shift: Trump said "... just today a missile was sent in probably by Russia, to Poland. 50 miles into Poland." [Video LINK]

[Video on Twitter] - Russian propagandist Solovyov now performs as a sales representative to promote Russian soldiers' equipment.
Solovyov says the Russian body armor and helmet are of high quality. The internet doesn't agree on that, but whatever, that's the Russians' problem.
Solovyov said "You get a sleeping bag. It's right here." It reminds me of the 'use tampon as a first aid kit' video, the authenticity of which was confirmed by Russian TV propaganda itself. https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/1gQNGQr
Direct link to the video - The officer asked them to get their own sleeping bags. Yep. So unless you're Solovyov, you didn't get a free sleeping bag.

There is a misinformation video going around which shows people in Ukraine doing a nazi salute. Among them where children. I know, we have all seen them a thousand times, but these are all actors.

Too late to comment on this video, it is filled with thousands of pro-Russian comments. The Russian disinformation program is doing a great job there. It's Jimmy Dore's video, this guy is in the pocket of the rashists. A whole video full of pro-Russian disinformation. Imagine trying to explain to flat-earthers their mistake.

[The video at 2:55]
About the kids, I don't think it's staged. I think it's a real video from the France 2 channel (LINK).
The children were probably told to give a military salute, and then they do some kind of goodbye gesture on their own. Only problem, the children did not think to wave their hands while making the gesture of goodbye. So, yes, it looks like a Nazi salute, but since they were saying goodbye, it's not a Nazi salute, not a Nazi hello.
They are just kids, it's pretty stupid and unfair to call them Nazis because they didn't think to wave their hands to say goodbye.

[The video at 4:24]
Jimmy Dore indirectly says that the Ukrainians are the perpetrators of the Bucha massacre. He cites the claims of another pro-Russian, he was careful to protect himself from prosecution.
And by the way, you can tell he has no acting skills when he plays the guy who tries to remember something.

Last years UN resolution against nazism. Apart from there being good reasons why the US voted against the resolution, the article which cites RT features an image which is from a different UN resolution - with much less "abstain" votes. So people are lead to believe that the Russian draft has much more support. The image shown is about Cuba. And of course RT claims neo nazis are popular in Ukraine.

Ukraine war: Bodies found amid reports of Russian atrocities in Kherson

Ukraine says it has found the bodies of 63 civilians bearing signs of torture near the recently liberated city of Kherson. Russia has repeatedly denied committing atrocities in its invasion. But the BBC has spoken to two people who said they were held for more than a month in what are being described as "torture chambers".
They claim to have found 11 illegal prisons and four torture chambers in Kherson after it was liberated. More than 700 people have been reported as missing. It's feared they are either dead or have been illegally taken to Russian-occupied territories, or Russia itself.
And now Ukraine has announced the discovery of dozens of bodies with signs of torture near the city. Interior minister Denys Monastyrsky said the investigation into crimes there had only just begun, "so many more dungeons and burial places will be uncovered".
Oleksandr Maksimenko, 69, shared a room with 15 other men, who he claims were relentlessly beaten and tortured. Some were electrocuted.
"It's horrible," he remembers. "One guy who was brought to the cell after his interrogation came back with a black tongue. It was so swollen it couldn't go back in his mouth."
Oleksandr says he shared painkillers with his cell mates. Temperatures often reached 40C and they were made to learn the Russian national anthem.
"One man was so bruised, he was almost fully blue from his head to his legs. It took him eight days to be able to stand up," he says.
Investigators say prisoners were often forced to confess to being a Ukrainian collaborator to be freed. In Oleksandr's case, he had to appear on Russian state TV.

Russia continues to deny deliberately targeting civilians, despite overwhelming evidence.

I think we had a similar discussion at the beginning of this discussion.

The Russian government can bind people to Russia by instilling the awareness that Russians are atrocious.
A long time ago, you could replace the Russian part with North Korea.

After all, it is a nightmare that many Russians do not have the information that would give them "reason to think" that the "Russian government" is bad.
Recently, I have seen discussions about how the election results are being influenced by the fact that American TV stations have taken over the entire U.S. and there is no TV station that does not report biased news, but it is not uncommon for people to consider the information they can see to be true and act accordingly.
As for the residents of this SG, nothing majorly strange has happened because they are relatively interested in matters and events in other countries.

Even Ukraine, a former Soviet country, has had some outrageous diplomatic missteps by adults who took the textbooks to heart. (There was later a correction and apology.)
Education at a young age also has an element of brainwashing.

So I guess it is important to know things widely.
It must be important to be free from censorship, to have freedom of expression, and to have an accumulation of knowledge (libraries and databases) to verify these things.
The efforts of people to record those histories and knowledge are also of paramount importance.

On the other hand, the end of a country where these activities begin to be inhibited is what we see today in Russia, North Korea, and other countries known as dictatorships.

Instead of worrying about people around you being evil to other people, be happy that you have the knowledge and ability to think and do the right thing as a human being.
Some countries do not have freedom of thought or religion.
If you can't affirm that a country's ideas and an individual's ideas are different, and you call them evil, that's the same as the way the government of an evil country works, isn't it? Maybe people can get along just by saying a few words.

Well, it seems that if they are green all over, or damp, or look awful, humans don't get along with them very well.👽∑(´Θ`)

That the Russians are losing so many working 2S19s is testimony to two things: the accelerating speed of Ukrainian advances, and the increasing sloppiness of Russian leadership.

Russia claims video shows soldiers killed after surrendering to Ukrainian forces as details remain unclear

Earlier in the week, in a briefing with journalists before the Makiivka videos had come into wide circulation, the head of the UN’s Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, Matilda Bogner, said that the UN had received credible reports of the torture and mistreatment of prisoners of war by both Russia and Ukraine, Reuters reported.
When asked to compare the level of abuses committed, Bogner said the mistreatment of Ukrainian prisoners by Russians was "fairly systematic," whereas she said it was "not systematic" for Ukraine to mistreat Russian soldiers, according to Reuters.

According to a UN official, the mistreatment of Ukrainian prisoners by the Russians is "fairly systematic," while it is "not systematic" for Ukraine to mistreat Russian soldiers.
Among the many tortures, rapes and killings, the Russians are also known for their habit of cutting off genitals and keeping skulls as souvenirs. Admit it, the worst side is the Russian side.

This war is not a contest of whoever does the least terrible war crimes. Any war crime, whether they're made by Russians or Ukrainians, should be investigated and brought to justice. Just because there's overwhelming evidence of the Russian army comitting war crimes doesn't mean Ukraine has free rein to do the same. It's the same twisted logic as "the US invaded many countries so why shouldn't Russia do it too".

Yes, I do understand that military casualties are to be expected in a war (and sadly Putin doesn't seem to care about how many it takes). It's not what my post was about though. Trying to excuse war crimes (whether they're "not systematic" or not) by saying the opponent did far worse is just disgusting (and it's also exactly what Putin has been doing since the start of the war). You deliberately quoted that part of the article and concluded that "the worst side is the Russian side" like you were trying to excuse that specific war crime just because the Russian army did far worse, while you could just have said that this specific war crime remains unproven because the circumstances surrounding it are unclear.

Because your "truth" is just whataboutism and it's just answering hate with a different kind of hate. And you are absolutely right saying "This war is not a contest of whoever does the least terrible war crimes."

My feeling about the situation are the following:
1) If all Russians there were killed in cross-fight with that ambush guy or if they started jumping-up during this fight - I'm totally OK with this situation.
2) If those Russian invaders were killed (executed) one by one after gunfight while they remained laying on the ground - I do consider this war crime (though I can understand the despair and rage of our soldiers since one of them was killed and one was wounded by that scoundrel)

So it looks like FAKE SURRENDER - which is WAR CRIME (is this part in russian videos or is it cutted out - as is you "standard" in you approach to "objective reports"?). I don't know what followed (nobody knows it, it's not in any video) - if they were executed, it's bad and it will be investigated. If it was self defense and "surrending soldiers" tried something? But it does look like they've been executed though. Namely, bodies' positions are mostly the same they were the moment they 'surrendered', with their faces to the ground too.
Although some bullet holes (or what look like them) can be spotted on their vests and legs, so maybe they got caught in a crossfire with that one idiot who decided to play the hero.
Or maybe those who 'surrendered' were all part of a distraction plan and knew it, but doesn't it make sense to keep more armed people in ambush rather than let them lie down?

Without the full video it's too obscure, and I'd say Ukraine should've published full video already to negate all the accusations.

Another ruzzian why try appeal to reality. You're trying in propaganda but just broke another bottom. The positions of the bodies of the living compared to the dead indicate only that some even lying down got up and ran a few meters during the time when their partner was shooting.

Sigh. So I am a ruzzian now huh? Interesting.
You are no different from those kremlin bots, quick to jump to conclusions and labelling others whenever something doesn't appeal to your reality.

No, they didn't.
First 5 bodies are easy to identify thanks to red tape (2,3), blue backplate (3), wide red tape on the leg (4) and a messenger bag (5). None of them changed their positions (outside of spontaneous body movements in death agony). Also there is a shooter body next to the blue pole but he isn't important to us there.
In video where they live 5 more people can be seen past the messenger bag guy, the bearded one (8, he is the third past the messenger bag guy) looks back to where the shooter was hiding, but in the video with dead bodies he, however, is still lying in his position, so maybe the shooter was a surprise to him just like to anyone else.
The next one (9, with a vest, there is a small gap between bearded guy and him even in the living video) is also at the same position.
And only the last (10) guy, who initially had a slightly different (a bit forward, so maybe he knew something) position, crawled to presumably hide behind the wall (the body with the red tape, doesn't have a vest).

Added numbers to them in the living video

So, who of them 'got up and ran a few meters' exactly, can you tell the exact numbers? Just the timestamp from the bodies video is okay, since links to photos with dead bodies is against this site rules.

First mission, get a military outfit in your size from an unmotivated(/drunk?) quartermaster. First defeat. You have to get used to it.

In what appeared to be renewed shelling both close to and at the site of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, IAEA experts at the ZNPP reported to Agency headquarters that more than a dozen blasts were heard within a short period of time in the morning local time. The IAEA team could also see some of the explosions from their windows.

Quote from a CNN article:

Energoatom said "the nature and list of damaged equipment" at the plant indicate that the aim was to disable "exactly the infrastructure that was necessary to launch power units 5 and 6 and resume electricity production by Zaporizhzhia NPP for the needs of Ukraine."

I wonder who did this?
Answer: If you can't find it on your own, you suck.

CNN is not able to verify the claims by Energoatom and the Russian Defense Ministry.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in a statement Sunday that powerful explosions shook the area of the plant Saturday evening and Sunday morning. More than a dozen blasts were heard within a short period of time Sunday morning local time, "in what appeared to be renewed shelling both close to and at the site" of the plant, IAEA said.

CNN seems to only describe the claims of the Ukrainian power company and the Russian government.

I'm sure the IAEA will be quick to verify the power company's claims of damage without rushing to answer.
It would be correct to wait for further reports from the IAEA.
In any case, if this place is destroyed, citizens of Ukraine and Russia will no longer be able to live in the country and will become exiles.
Anyone who would do such a thing should be "executed".☹

Lots of Julia Davis videos, again:
[Video on Twitter] - Meanwhile in Russia: a lawmaker argues that the strikes against Ukraine's critical infrastructure are meant to express Russia's "holy hatred" towards Ukrainians and prompt them to overthrow Zelensky. Others pontificate that freezing Ukrainian civilians will prompt a capitulation.

A ticket to the Russian alternative reality, it's incredible, it's so dense with bullshit.

[Video on Twitter] - Meanwhile in Russia: propagandist admits that Russia is in Ukraine "not to liberate anyone," but to take whatever Russia perceives as its own—including Kyiv—and terrorizing Ukrainians into shedding their national identity and being afraid "to breathe wrong in Russia's direction."

A rashist complains about the "inhuman brutality" of Ukrainians, their morality and their mental state. What is the crime of Ukrainians? Defending themselves, yes, just that.
The self-victimization of rashists has no limit!

[Video on Twitter] - Meanwhile in Russia: accused war criminal Zakhar Prilepin—who spends a lot of time on the frontlines and previously boasted of "killing many" in Ukraine—admits that Russia wants to negotiate merely to regroup and finish fighting later, any potential peace accords notwithstanding.

I wonder what kind of stuff the bald guy took. In my opinion, Olga Skabeyeva, the host looks bored playing babysitter for delirious rashists.
This is just speculation, but still, a Newsweek article on Olga Skabeyeva: Did Russian State TV Anchor Secretly Mock Putin on Telegram? What We Know

[Video on Twitter] - Meanwhile in Russia: a rare moment of sanity on Russian state TV, when one panelist was finally fed up with Vladimir Solovyov's threats to wipe Kyiv or Kharkiv off the face of the earth.

Solovyov does not like to be lectured when he proposes massacres of civilians. Poor Solovyov, it must be hard to be him.

[Video on Twitter] - Ukrainians found an abandoned wounded Russian soldier and gave him food.

After all the crimes committed by Russians, there are still Ukrainians willing to do this kind of thing. Ukrainians have hearts of gold.
To the rashists: ok they are generous, but not to the point of accepting the Russian conditions. Ukrainians value freedom, something you may not understand.

I always wonder what the hell is wrong with those who call to actually send nukes, like Solovyev or Skabeeva. Like, you hope that you won't get nukes flying your way in exchange or that you somehow survive?

Russians accused of burning bodies at Kherson landfill

Residents and workers say occupying forces used site to burn bodies of fallen Russian soldiers
The landfill site on the edge of Kherson offers some visible hints here and there, among the piles of rubbish, to what locals and workers say happened in its recent past. Russian flags, uniforms and helmets emerge from the putrid mud, while hundreds of seagulls and dozens of stray dogs scavenge around.
As the Russian occupation of the region was on its last legs over the summer, the site, once a mundane place where residents disposed of their rubbish, became a no-go area, according to Kherson’s inhabitants, fiercely sealed off by the invading forces from presumed prying eyes.
The reason for the jittery secrecy, several residents and workers at the site told the Guardian, was that the occupying forces had a gruesome new purpose there: dumping the bodies of their fallen brethren, and then burning them.
The residents report seeing Russian open trucks arriving to the site carrying black bags that were then set on fire, filling the air with a large cloud of smoke and a terrifying stench of burning flesh.
They believe the Russians were disposing of the bodies of its soldiers killed during the heavy fighting of those summer days.

Well well well ... the list of Russian war crimes received some interesting new entries. No one left behind [cough] [cough] sorry, the stench.
