Predicting the winner would be much too easy in a field of twenty where only six drivers (if that) will likely contest most wins. To make things more interesting you will have to predict the top three finishers in the correct order and do so before the start of the qualifying session on Saturday.

I wonder how many of these constant Ferrari driver on top posts are based on actual merit and how many are just perpetual wishful thinking.

the training showed a clear advantage for Ferrari, then Q2 happened

Earlier trainings also showed advantage to the Ferrari cars, then the races happened. :)
I am a McLaren fan, but I keep my expectations within reality based on the past events, so I just perpetually hope to see them scoring at least, preferably with both cars (although this is also a very high expectation territory).

I mean, today Vettel didn't get a tow, which would make a difference, Leclerc was faster until the accident and Ferrari was faster in Bahrain.

I do think Mercedes has the upperhand but won't be 21 1-2's, far from it. I still think the WDC is wide open for the next 4 races at least.
