Cut off part:

Confederate General Martin Green's last words were "A bullet has not yet been molded that will kill me." He said this in response to a warning to keep his head down while inspecting the defenses at Vicksburg. Moments later he was shot in the head and killed by a Union sharpshooter.

Now this one is interesting! I really like these type of games and to see one in the roman era (my favorite historical era) is just amazing! Bought tier 3.

I guess tier 3 for me.

€2.49 / €4.89 / €6.69 in the EU.
I am no grand strategy expert, but by the look of them, these seem to be some of the weakest offerings in Slitherine's catalogue...

More like some of those. Then again, one would normally bundle those games that don't sell well in the first place, with maybe 1-2 hooks among the rabble.

Where is something like "Gran Master" maybe amount of games yes but quality nothing. Rather 2/3 good games than 10 bad, it isnt true?
First tier would be great for collectors of uselss games for $1 for all 10.

"Gran Master" would have potentially been a far more entertaining proposition.

IMHO the prospect of battling to the death with little old ladies sporting razor sharp knitting needles and blue rinse hair seems far more appealing than a handful of Slitherine cast-offs...

I really like the idea of Grand Strategy games, but I don't think I have the patience to learn them. Are these any less complicated than the Paradox catalogue?

I don't know of easier games, but I thought the same as you before (no patience etc), but then I started to learn CK2 and had a lot of fun just learning it. I personally also think that the basics of Hearts of Iron IV aren't that hard to learn and it only takes maybe 5-10 hours to be able to play a decent game. You won't be great at that point, but you can have a lot of fun with it.

On the reviews of Alea Jacta Est I also saw someone mention that it wasn't as complicated as the paradox games, but I'm still downloading it, so can't say for myself.

EDIT: whoops, though you said "are there," instead of "these"

Are these any less complicated than the Paradox catalogue?

Nope, quite the opposite. These make Paradox games seem simple in comparison.

Some of the older Paradox games are both better than the current offerings and easier to get into (EU2; HoI 2 and variants).

I can understand that it's quite a niche offering, but for a wargamer this is one of the best bundles ever! A couple of games are actually some of the least appreciated in Slitherine/Ageod catalogue , expecially Pride of Nations, but games like Civil War II, Alea Jacta Est and Revolution Under Siege are acclaimed wargames/grand strategy, so for that audience the value for money is astounding, thanks Bundle Stars :)!

I have to say the retail prices on some of the games in Slitherine's publishing catalog are ridiculous.

So you don't accidentally enter something you own.

To GS experts:

I'm not really good at GS games. I'm more into RTS (aoe like games). From the point of view of people who are good at GS games is this a good bundle?

Thanks ^^
