Humble have really left their Mark on the Osmosis of game bundles, haven't they?

View Results
[Buy: Tier 2] Five games for three dollars each? Could be worse. Let's pretend T1 doesn't exist and move on.
[Meme: Tier 1] I'm just here for Lugaru—that thing's older than me!
[Split] I'll KNIGHT-KILL whoever tries to take my Inkbound in group buy splits!
[Have] A lot has changed in 15 years, and with some disposable income, I now find myself already owning these Deluxe Editions and Supporter Packs. [Incomplete Biotato] Only Kill Knight has no missing in-game content. Bionic Bay and Inkbound have some cosmetics, Oddsparks has content DLCs, and Mark of the Deep calls itself a Deluxe Edition but is about to get a boss rush DLC.
[Skip] ...And Yet It Sucks.

Truly, just like old times...

Except back then you could get the same games for 1 cent lol. I think this was before they enforced having to pay $1 for steam keys, but I could be wrong. Even then it'd just be $1

(talking about the repeats, not the new to bundle games)

Tbh, I was thinking about humble celebrating the good old times and us seeing Lily as the thread maker for the occasion :3

I think $1 minimum was added during Steam Winter Sale 2011 (so 4th indie bundle) because people abused it for free prizes in Steam event.

Excellent bundle, although they probably should have made it one tier only.

Really nice selection but I own all but one from tier 1 and am only really interested in one from tier 2 so it's a skip for me.

I can't really tell what is the prupose of calling this bundle "Time Capsule"

They just have four 20 year old games and then 5 games from last year...

Did IGN completely lose the ability to undersetand words?

Tsk, tsk, tsk...
Can't you see my friend?
Humble 15 Time Capsule.
Price: $15
And as you mentioned 20 and 5: 20 - 5 = 15
You were right at the edge of grasping the truth behind it all...
It's all coming together now, isn't it?

The tier one games were all given away in very early bundles. I'm not sure about the tier two games, though.

Bionic Bay is the only game that I want from this bundle.

Personally I think it's a mediocre start for 15-year celebration, first tier should be 1$ like in good ol' days and second tier like 12$ and not 18$ which it costs in my region with taxes.

I would at lhe very least for them to try make something special of the first one to get things going, if the first is that, it's hard to care for whatever is coming next. Humble Bundle can no longer be run by people who like games, it simply can't...

You know, when I said in the other thread that they were going to make the top tier cost $15, I was actually joking.

...joke's on me, obviously.

How fitting that you are back for this thread, Lilly. It really feels like a proper time capsule, unlike that bundle.

Shame that Humble uses the celebration explanation to excuse even more rebundles, but I guess that's exactly what anyone already expected.
I'll still bite because Inkbound, Bionic Bay and KILL KNIGHT are on my wishlist and the price for these is fair enough.

Are you seriously moaning about rebundles when the games are 15 years old? It's the point of those, they are classic ones which HB started with. The higher tier are all first timers in bundles.

Are you the new Bambini (or whatever his name was), on duty to validate if people's opinions on a bundle are acceptable?
Now I even came to the conclusion that the price was fair enough for me and you STILL aren't satisfied. 😅

I would have preferred them to celebrate their old content by providing bundles to people still missing out on the classic content.
Mixing it half-half is just adding bloat for those possibly interested. See poll for confirmation.

You were right, T1 is just them throwing in worthless games to inflate the price of the bundle, all for their "15 year anniversary". I do think T2 is still worth it, but this is nothing new and humble has been doing the whole repeat inflation thing for a while. I, like others, hesitate to buy it because it waters down the value for me when half of the bundle consists of repeats, especially ones that are 15 years old lol

It's a good bundle considering they aren't rebundled, Bionic bay is fun and the level design and sound design is awesome, Mark of the Deep is a bit on the shallow side, but still looked interesting from what i played of it.
Oddspark and Inkbound looked very intersting (to me) and Kill Knight i played the demo and you could feel the weight of the hits, think it's gonna be a good time.
But to your case now, depends how you feel about these type of games, like others said it's a "timecapsule" bundle with 4 older games and 5 newer never before bundled.

I am sorry, but the T1 looks like trash, and T2, while not bad, are games I would consider T1 filler for better bundles, not something that would make me buy a bundle. Am I too spoiled? SKIP

Inkbound looks cool and I definitely dig it and would try it, but that's a HEFTY price for just this one game, when I either don't care for any other, or already have them.
