Probably naaah, im not gonna buy this blindly.. Been way to few confirms lately, still time left to decide so won't stress it over a 0,99$ as it's on sale atm.

I think I finally learnt my lesson and I will not be buying. Too many mystery meat bundles too close to the sale. And that IG bundle is so solid reminding us what good bundles look like!

ETA: not sad at all for skipping. Actually, kinda happy about it.

And that IG bundle is so solid reminding us what good bundles look like!

Just so long as you're aware that IG releases a far higher number of junk bundles than Groupees [namely since they feel compelled to release a minimum of 4 a week, and they're typically full of junky repeats], and Groupees' big bundles (eg, Be Mines) tend to completely overshadow IG's.

I mean, not arguing any of your sentiments expressed, just saying that IG is probably not the best one to compare Groupees to :P
Besides, Groupees has never scammed anyone, that I've heard.. :X

Yeah, IG in general is not stellar either. Only that Anime Angels has been solid in the past... month? I don't even remember.

I'm generally pretty happy about how different the 'major' bundle sites are from each other. However, empirically IG>Groupees for me in terms of number of games a) wishlisted, b) I'd like to add in my library. And I'm really not that into mystery meat. For someone looking for new games of any type Groupees is definitely the better one, hands down.

#NoHintsEqualsBadBundle :/

That long standing pattern aside, the confirmed repeats and fact that it's a Build-A-Bundle.. better to just wait, and grab the 1-2 games that might be remotely decent, after launch. :X

You see what Groupees is doing? Notice how they went up on the standard pre-order from $1.25 to $1.50 (by "standard" I mean there was a pattern of a lot of pre-orders that were $1.25, though not all), and then they make buying the whole bundle after it goes live nonsensically expensive (who would pay $4 for this?). They're trying to train you psychologically to buy more of the pre-orders on impulse, and pay more for the privilege.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

They also took game counts off from the main page, so you don't know how many games are actually in it, unless you do some research (Which most people won't). The latest bundle, The Combat Fighting Action Bundle, hasn't even had a single real hint, either. Just trash ones. No confirmations, no real hints, just junk. On top of that, no one knows if the background is a game or not a game. They won't say.

I think it is extending, at this point, to see just how far they can take it. Unfortunately having to do this means that the quality is continuing to drop and they have to work extra hard for sales. Only reason that makes sense. They are getting desperate for sales and money. Quality is dropping, sales are slowly dropping, and costs are going up. None of that is good.
