and yet, living in new zealand, the mark-up on this is going to be insane. 700ish hundred usd you say? for us, 1.7k usd easily. man what a rort selling this shit is in countries where price gouging is actively encouraged.

I definitely want to upgrade this year (my GTX 1080 is ok, but doesn't really cut it anymore at 3440*1440@100Hz). The 3080 seems to be a big upgrade and will probably be my card of choice. Would love the 3090, but that's a little too much money for a graphics card. I need to upgrade the whole PC, so 1500€ for just the graphics card seems excessive.

For my lame playing of PUBG is quite enough 1080 8GB i have for 2+ years, i still have XYX FPS but idk why i have needs to buy 3090 :|

Prices are good. But those GPUs aren't that good. Maybe it's because games are terribly optimized. If my RTX 2080 Super is barely getting 60 fps on QHD in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, 3090 won't make me suddenly rise it to stable 120. Because that doesn't work like that. Especially that You also need a CPU etc. They say it let's You play 8k. Okay, I can play ad 24k. Running Tibia won't be that resource using. They used examples of the games that are not really much resource using. Let us show SotTR with 8K at max settings. They won't be getting such cool results.
Of course the cards are way better, but they won't make the game run that much better as some people think. Or amirong? But I really doubt it will.
