new lara croft vs old lara croft (tr legend). Which do you prefer?

I prefer the new one. She looks innocent and I really love her hair style although I have not played new tomb raider yet.

New one by far. At least she's humanized. Looks a million times better too. As far as the new one being a "cry baby", let's put it this way... I'm pretty sure that most of the people who say that, if put into the shoes of the new one and having to experience -everything- that she went through... they'd be "cry babies" too. Just saying. She did seem to toughen up towards the end though.

for continuity, old.
it's a newer pet peeve of mine, when characters don't have a consistent look across artists/iterations of their media (aside from their outfits).

Of course the nice, fit girl that actually has the decency to wear trousers and not a doll-like bimbo in glorified underwear and boots jumping around unwelcoming places basically naked. There's suspension of disbelief and then there's being a whore.

There were no dominant female characters that played the main role in video games during that time that I can think of.

Why would you call Lara from Legend the "old" one? TR Legend is a reboot as well as the new Tomb Raider. Lara from the earlier games (from TR1 to Chronicles of TR) was the best.
