Virtual Reality – one of your favourite Realms, or over-hyped & over-priced?

View Results
[Tier 1] In the high-priced Steam regions, that's a decent bit cheaper than the recent 90% sales it had. Why not.
[Tier 2] $10 is a reasonably small step for me, yet a big step for the Propagation of VR gaming in my household.
[Tier 3] I'll need to dedicated an entire Vacation to get to play all of these.
[Have games] What can I say, VR games are worth it for me, even at higher than bundle prices.
[Tiers too expensive] $18 for 7 games? I could get better value over in Fanatical's Build Your Own... corner, IMO.
[Can't afford VR] As long as funds keep Vanishing from my wallet... no can haz a VR set.
[Don't like VR] VR ain't the Rabbit Hole I want to peek Down.

Still no VR for me...

Basic gaming computers can handle it. Worked perfectly well on my 1660 Ti with i5.

Have you checked the requirements for VR? Here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1070910/Are_you_ready_for_Valve_Index/

Some games are heavier than others obviously. But i can tell you i used an i7 3770k stock and a 1080ti, with 16gb ddr3 1600mhz ram and managed to play most VR games without an issue. My main issue at the time was the i7 3770k. Was outdated, the 1080ti is more than enough atm.

no, no. My pc is WAY worse that that (i5-4210U, intel grafics because laptop, and only 6Gb of RAM because... well because i know RAM only is not enought to revive this)

That's not even a gaming laptop, sadly. Intel cpus that end with U, means they are very low power consumption, those things are usually meant for lightweight work, browsing and lightweight games or old games.

And it's only a dual core. Like you said, it will only be able to handle indie games or old games.

Tier 3 is 3 killer/must have games, I spent countless hours in Ragnarock (Metal rhythm game !) and Pistol Whip.
I also love Down the Rabbit Hole in T2 too even if it's on the short side.

Depend what type of games you're playing, history-driven games like Moss or Half Life Alyx took me 6-8h to complete, Lone Echo I&II I'd say 20h in total... DTRH took me 2h in comparison.
Other games like driving sim (Euro/american truck simulator, assetto corsa, iRacing...), flight sim (msfs, elite, rogue squadron), shooters or rhythm games (Beat Saber, Ragnarock, Pistol Whip) virtually have infinite replayability.
Think of VR as a platform with different type of games than "a genre" in itself.

First month so far I haven't gotten a bundle anywhere. Very disappointing.

Might grab tier 3 for Pistol Whip and Ragnarock. I'm not familiar with the other games though.

1 WL game in T2 and 2 "pretty interesting" games in T3. We'll see, for $18...

If you don't have them, tier 3 is worth it for Pistol Whip and Ragnarock, in my opinion.

What? Not all games/bundles are cheap. This is the lowest price for Pistol Whip alone.

After the fall is currently 20% off. The 25% off coupon comes off that sale price.

Can you show me where it is currently on sale? On Steam DB it says the last sale pricing was in February.

I'm mistaken. It was 20% off for me having the Humble Bundle subscription. 🤦‍♂️

I'm gonna buy it because Pistol Whip and Ragna Rock have excited me but I have been waiting for a sale (or bundle!) and this is it.
But like is this Propagation DLC just the DLC and not the game????? And also a Coupon for another game??? This feels really ****y like a scam.
Usually they sell the base game to try and get purchases of a DLC not the other way around, I'll have a DLC for a game I don't own???

Pistol Whip and Ragnarock are very beautiful games that deserve a 9 and also deserve all the money spent on this bundle. perhaps they are among the best VR games around since Beat Saber, The Walking Dead Saint & Sinner and Half Life Alyx of course
